Christina Cronin & Mark Langevin

October 4, 2003

HOW WE MET: Mark and I met while I was an intern at WGBY Public Television in Springfield, MA. I was transitioning to a career in community television from a career in food service at the time. I never thought that I would meet and fall in love with the person I would spend the rest of my life with when I started that internship! It just goes to show you...you can't plan your destiny!

THE ENGAGEMENT

Their engagement was announced on October 21, 2002.

HOW WE GOT ENGAGED: I had gone to California for my sister's wedding last October. When I returned Mark told me that he missed me very much and that he wanted to take me out to dinner.  We started heading up Route 91 North and I thought we must be going to Bub's Bar B Q. He pulled-up in front of Sienna, a very nice intimate restaurant in South Deerfield. I thanked him for taking me to such a nice place. He then said "And that's not all.," and he pulled out a ring. I cried of course. I didn't see this coming at all. We have been together for 8 years and this was such a nice surprise!

The wedding will be a small, family wedding up in Maine.  The wedding date is set for October 4, 2003. The wedding and reception will take place at Beaver Lodge in Hope, ME.
