These are some shots of the various garden railways I have had over the years, now all sadly demolished. Plans are afoot to build a new line as soon as I move house, which as we speak is due to take place in mid Novemeber. In fact the move will involve a return to the location where most of these photographs were taken and a re-opening of a line abandoned twelve years ago: The Weobley and Leominster Light Railway. The Hudson Hunslet is the old Merlin kit, which really needs to be rebuilt with chain drive rather its current rubber band power. The Little Wonder was one of the early ones off the Merlin production line. Really quite a powerful machine. The Kerr Stuart was by Fell (WHatever happenede to them?). The Simplex was as homemade as it looks.
