SA    school    buddies   meet in    Canada   after    43 years!

    Eva emigrated to Australia in the 70's and Noreen left for Canada soon after that. 

    "There was laughter, tears and lots of excitement," said Eleanor about the reunion. 

    The three were close friends at Trafalgar High School in Cape Town in the 50's and kept contact with each other for all these years. 

     "We finally decided that it was time that we got together for a reunion," said Eleanor in a short stop in Toronto before heading to the United States for a tour. 
    "We had so much to talk about and so little time. But, it was a dream come true. Now we're planning another reunion in South Africa for later this year," said the Bonteheuwel teacher. 

    "It was fabulous. We hugged and kissed and laughed and cried. And, we didn't stop talking. I cannot describe the emotions we went through when we met. As young high school students at Trafs, we were always together. This meeting was awesome!" she said.
