The Golden Age of Comic Books... now a lot of people can point out that the Golden Age was when Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman first appeared and began their rise to fame. It is also the time when such groundbreaking heroes as the tempermental, and at times almost "villian"-like Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner, the hot-tempered artificial android, The (original) Human Torch, and the patriotic American soldior and hero, Captain America.

Although eventually I'd love to do a more comprehensive site on the Golden Age, I will for now restrict my site to the Golden Age of Marvel, then known as Timely, for the main reason that while Marvel's "Distinguised Compitition" has rewritten it's history more often then most countries have, Marvel maintained it's continuity by seporating the Golden and Silver Ages without damaging any of the stories it's fans have come to love.

What have I up-dated? Well, I changed the format of the Profiles section, and added an entry for the Red Raven! I know it doesn't sound like much, but baby-steps! More to come soon! (really this time)
