Canada's unemployment rate took a big jump last month...pushed by the number of young people looking for work.
The rate rose half-a-percentage point in April to 8.3 per cent.
That's the highest it's been in seven months.
Economists say there's no need to panic, though.
They point out that the number of people working actually went out by 15,000.
They say big increase in job-seekers is also a sign Canadians are more confident of finding work.
Well, for many who are looking for jobs, it's not so much about pounding the pavement these days as it is about surfing the net.
Susan Bonner explains.

Greg Mccarty> Good evening. Can I get you something for dinner?

Susan Bonner>Greg Maccarty spent months waiting on tables.
Waiting for a chance at the job he really wanted.
He's what economists call the underemployed.
He's trained as a chef but doesn't have the time to find a job to put his skill to use.
Greg Mccarty>It's nice to me, it's on the ocean.
