The net is a powerful tool in the job hunt, but it's no garantee of a job, says this analyst.
Mark Swartz:Analyst>I think a lot of people are hoping to go: point, click and you're hired.
Because they've heard all sorts of stories. But the truth is that there's still a lot of work that has to be done.

Susan Bonner>Clearly, the internet cannot cure Canada's 8 per cent unemployment rate.
And there are no statistics that indicate exactly how many Canadians actually find work through the net.
But in some sectors, like the high tech field, the internet has become the only way to look for work.
