Mark  mainly  uses  colour  slides  as  the  film  gives  him  better  colour  fidelity and  sharpness.  Since  joining  the  Malta Photographic  society  in  1991,  he  participated  with  great  success in  many  competitions, although  he  does  not  take  photographs  with  that  purpose  in  mind.  His  main  scope  is  instill  in the  viewers  of  his  work a  sense  of  respect  particularly  towards  the  Maltese  flora  and  fauna.

Mark  currently  lectures  Environmental  Science  at  University  Junior College and  has  recently  obtained  his  Masters  degree.
