Sarah's Biography

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess named Sarah. She grew up in a tiny kingdom named Waukegan. Her father and mother (the King and Queen) wanted her to be educated in all subjects a young lady should, so they sent her to Bradley University in the mythical land of Peoria. She found a major interest in English, and was also interested in music. Sarah also discovered how wonderful it is to play the flute and bassoon (not at once, of course). She was always cheerful and happy, and skipped along joyfully more often than not.

Then her life was turned upside down. A great white whale began to haunt the waters of Lake Michigan. Sarah, being protective of her kingdom, became increasingly worried that the white whale spelt doom for everyone. She became obsessed with driving the whale away, though not killing it, because she felt it would be happier in the Gulf of Mexico, and wouldn't be compelled to lash out at those around it. She built a boat and attached a peg leg to her knee, since it didn't work right anyway. Finally, in a violent storm, she found the whale and captured it. The kingdom rejoiced, and threw a huge party in Sarah's honor. True to form, she was too modest to attend, and instead oversaw the arduous task of transporting the whale to the Gulf of Mexico, where it currently resides with its wife and four kids. Sarah got rid of the peg leg because it didn't go with any of her accessories.

When Sarah returned, she thought life would go back to normal, but found several princes waiting for her. Her parents (the King and Queen) felt that the Princess should settle down. She was not sure she wanted to, but decided that it was as good a time as any. After a grueling period of constant interviewing and testing, a suitable Prince was chosen, and again the kingdom celebrated. Her Prince was handsome, funny, kind, gentle, intelligent, and let her have her way most of the time (which ties into the intelligence thing). Princess Sarah's parents (the King and Queen) retired, leaving her to run the kingdom. After a while, the couple had two beautiful children who never gave them a bit of trouble, and they lived happily ever after.
