MUNA (Jumrat)

1 .  Muna is the place where Syedna Ibrahim (AH) obeyed the order of Almighty Allah what he saw in a dream. He laid his beloved son over the soil of Muna to sacrify his life without any hesitation. Neither father Syedna Ibrahim (AH) nor son Syedna Ismail (AH) became hesitant to do this sacrifice. Almighty Allah loved the sincerity of his Prophet and sent a goat to replace Syedna Ismail's (AH) life.

2 .  Although Satin tried to misguide both father and son on three occasions but he could not get success in his bad intention. Both the Prophets of Allah remained firm in their intentions. They could not think against will of Almighty Allah. Their sincerity is so much loved by Allah, it is made compulsory to the people of the world to repeat this historic incident for good every year.

3 .  In Muna three Pillars have been built which indicate the points where Satin tried to misguide both Father And Son (AH). Pilgrims of Haj throws pebbles (RAMI) over all pillars of satin to express their anger. It is an important element of Haj. Rami is done on tenth, eleventh and twelfth of Zilhija.

4 .  This is the field where pilgrims of Haj perform the Sunnah of Syedna Ibrahim (AH) by sacrifying their animals. Number of slaughter places  are made and number of camps are pitched in this field as the pilgrims have to stay at least three days here.

5 .  After some serious fire accidents, now Saudi Government has built some concrete camps which may be kept cool using air conditions.

6 .  In Muna there is a famous Mosque "Masjid-e-Nehar" where Prophet (S. A. W.). sacrficed animals. It is situated in between satin pillars.

MUZDALFA

1 .  It is an open air ground where pilgrims of Haj spend the night of tenth Zilhij. After Waqoof-e-Arfat, Pilgrims come in this ground and offer Maghreb and Esha Prayer (combine) and spend whole the night in open air ground where they pray and beg Dua. The prayer of tenth Zilhij night is considered more beneficent than the whole night prayer of  "Shab-e-Qadar" (Five Special Nights of Ramadan of Last Ten Days).

2 .  Pilgrims of Haj collect seventy pebbles from this ground to throw over satins in Muna next day.

3 .  There is a very important and spiritual place in this ground where a mosque named Mashar-al-Haram is situated. It is the place where Prophet (S. A. W.) spent whole the night under the sky during the eve of his Haj.
 

VADI -E- MEHSAR

1 .  When we travel by road from Muna to Muzdalfa we find an open ground next to Muzdalfa field. When Muzdalfa ends, it starts. It is called "Vadi-e-Mehsar".

2 .  It is the place where an historic incident had taken place which is known in Holy Quran as an event of "ASHAB-E-FEEL" (Elephant). Few months before the birth of Last Prophet Muhammad (S. A. W.), an invader named "ABRAHA" was coming to Makkah with his bad intention (Allah may forbidden) to destroy Holy Kaba. When he reached to this field with his strong elephants, Almighty Allah sent a band of birds which threw pebbles over elephants which smashed all the elephants and the carvan of Abraha. Almighty allah protected his Haram and "Kaba". This incident described in Surah-e-Feel.

3 .  Pilgrims must cross this space quickly. They must accelerate their normal speed because it is the place where Almighty Allah showed his Anger. It is the place of punishment and pilgrims must not stop over here.
