Reading your words,
My head in My hands
Lost in a desert
Amidst the shifting sands.

Awaiting your return,
My heart I shall keep
In a box be the bed
Each night as I sleep.

For a part of it is yours
And always will be
I'll keep it forever
Always with Me.

Till you return
Then back in My chest
To beat again for you
And none of the rest.

Until that time comes
I shall remain true
For it belongs
to none other than you

Keep your self safe
And Me in your heart
For I am always
of you, a part.
