Louise Leigey's work has been described as dramatic
and expressive with a highly selective use of line.
Basically self-taught, Louise has received numerous regional awards including several best of show's and first places. She has shown work at IUP's Kipp Gallery and the 3rd Annual National Pastel Show at LaFond Gallery in Pittsburgh, where she took Honorable Mention. Her work is also in several private collections and she holds memberships in The Indiana Art Association, Allied Artists of Johnstown, PA Artists Professional Association, and the Greensburg Art Club.
