My Little Corner of The Universe

In Other Words....My World

Welcome to my world. The song you hear playing is one of my favorite all time songs. It's called "C'mon And Love Me" It was recorded by KISS in '75 for the album Dressed To Kill.

This page is for you. (it's really for me but that sounds kinda endearing don't it? *hehehe*) If you cared enough to check it out then I figure I'd better make it as good as I can. I was a transplanted hillbilly. Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away I lived in a place called Michigan. It could have been worse, (and usually was in the winter). I was presented with the opportunity to get out of Michigan... I gladly took it. I now live in the place I've always wanted to live. The place I've always called home. Tennessee. Don't get me wrong though, Michigan is great and there are some really wonderful people there, namely my parents, my brother, my son Tyler, and a few assorted friends. Very few.

I was the lead singer and rythym/lead guitarist in a country/rock band. I have been known to play drums or bass if needed. That was mainly because the drummer didn't know how to get to a gig, or back on stage, on time. The drummer, lead guitarist, and bass player were good guys and I wish them the best. The keyboard player. He was a fair keyboard player, but....ahhhh.....he was a backstabbing prick.....or asshole....they both fit him pretty well.

GEAR
First the guitars and amps.(pic here) My weapon of choice is a black Fender Telecaster named Louise, after my mother. It was a gift from my parents in '88. The only changes made to the guitar are as follows: Marty Stuart's autograph on the pickguard, a Waylon Jennings tribute sticker that I made, and I installed Texas Special's. I also have a brownburst Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster named Oscar, after Marty Stuart's dog *L*. I will be changing pickups in this Tele. A Texas Special in the bridge and a '54 Strat Re-issue in the neck. I have one more Tele. It's one of my dream guitars. I spent 15 years chasing one and was finally able to get one. It's a Pink Paisley Tele named Antonietta, but I call her Toni for short. I swapped the pick-up's in her. She now has a Seymour Duncan Broadcaster in the bridge, and a Duncan Vintage Tele in the neck. I'm 'this' close to buying a new guitar. The next one looks like it may be a Silvertone Paul Stanley Sovereign Pro model, but I don't know for sure yet. I'd still like to get a Paul Stanley PS10II Ibanez Iceman, but my dream guitars I've yet to acquire are the Buck Owens Telecaster, a silver sparkle Tele like Buck and Don Rich played, a '52 Tele re-issue, and a Blue Flower Telecaster. My gig amp is a Fender Blues DeVille with the 2x12 configuration. My practice amp is a Fender Hot Rod DeLuxe. In the way of effects I use a Boss GT-6 processor. I first set it to sound the same as just running my guitar straight into the amp. Then I set my different patches such as overdrive, chorus, delay, etc by adding them to the original patch then saving it.

Now for the drums. I have a 7 pc. Tama Rockstar kit in black. I use all Tama hardware and pedals. Sabian cymbals. I have the following cymbals: B8Pro 10" Splash, B8 14" Thin Crash, B8 16" Thin Crash, B8 16" Rock Crash, Pro 18" Chinese, B8 20" Rock Ride. I also have a L.P. Black Beauty cowbell. I've started using the Ahead Peter Criss sticks. They're kinda pricey but I'm not having the wrist pains that I used to have before I started using them. So I guess it's worth it. Drum pics are here, but they're older pics when I still had a 5pc kit: Pic Pic #2

I'm 5'10" tall, and weigh 175 lbs. I have dark brown hair and hazel eyes. I was born sometime between the Edsel and Star Wars. I'm recently divorced. My ex-wife had 3 children from a previous marriage. One of her children, Zachrhy, passed away very early in life. His story is included HERE.

I'd like to give a special thank you to my brother for originally helping with the construction of this page. Without him, you wouldn't be seeing any of this.

A big thank you goes to my parents for letting me grow up with a vivid imagination.
