Conrail train stalled at Lehighton

These shots were taken in the fall of about 1994. The Conrail train developed a fault in the air brake system, allowing the air to leak out and stop the brakes from working correctly. The train stopped at the former Lehigh Valley Packerton Yard in Lehighton, PA. The hulk of the LV car shops are in the first photo. Some foamer types were hanging around the head end at talking with the crew. It was a beautiful fall day.
