Fonts are a great way to jazz up your page. There are thousands of fonts on the web which can be downloaded for free and used to suit your style and personality. Bear in mind that only those fonts which reside in the user's computer can be seen by the viewer, so any unusual font used on your web page must be uploaded as a graphic for general viewing. If you use a font which is not contained in the viewer's computer, it will be seen as their default font--usually Times New Roman. Most people have Times New Roman, Comic Sans MS and Arial/Helvetica on their computer, so these are generally used for most text. Below I've listed a few excellent font sites.
