Nutmeg is an important culinary spice and a traditional
flavoring for egg and cheese dishes, spinach, cakes & puddings,
and such spiced meat mixtures as sausage and haggis. Mace
has a stronger flavor and is particularly good with fish dishes.
Nutmeg, like many kitchen spices, has digestive properties &
can alleviate nausea and flatulence.
CAUTION: use netmeg sparingly. Large doses may be fatal.
