The question people often ask us is "What do you sound like?" To which we reply "Ummmm." So we've formulated the following to give you an idea:
A bit of psychedelia (the Syd Barret-era Pink Floyd variety), a bit of Funky wah-wah and bass exploration (the 1960's James Brown experience) and a bit of Dub (the floor-shaking bassline experience). So it's kind of psychedelic-funk-dub. Which is a pretty unsatisfactory description. But we'll try and get an example up here soon.
We rely a lot on improvisation, and have a diverse set of influences (if we assume we're influenced by everything we listen to regularly) that includes 60's and 70's psychedelia, Deep Funk, and artists like The Future Sound of London and Can. We use guitars and percussion as well as sequencers and digital effects to create a sound that we think is psychedelic and possibly even unique.
Interested? Mystified? Well, we would send you a tape, but we're not that organised. Sorry.
We're based in North London (England) and we've been doing some sort of musical thing for the last three years or so.
OK, there's nothing here. We had a few problems with the sound sample. You see, Geocities ain't too fast and nobody could be bothered to download a 2MB file when it took over a week (people in the UK don't often get free web access either). But Geocities seems to have sped up a bit just recently and we've now got 10MB of disc space to play with, so maybe we'll experiment soon.
If you'd still like to hear some, send us your details using the form below, and we'll stick something in the post to you, wherever you are. This way you get more for your money.
Using our newly found technological skills, we've created this feedback form. If you want to let us know how wonderful you think our music is, or how it changed your life, cured your ingrowing toenails, made your mother-in-law move out, or for that matter how awful it is, made your hair fall out, etc, then here is the place to do it. Just fill in the information below and press 'Send'. We'll receive your comments and we'll probably put a list of them on this page.
