Little known facts about me:

I had jaw surgery when I was fifteen.
I studied ballet for 10 years.
My grandfather was a photographer. His pictures are eerily similar to mine, even though I never knew they existed until 2 years after I started studying photography.
I'm very quiet around people I don't know. Yet, I'm a total metalhead (thanks to my Dad).
I don't drive.
I discovered photography by accident.
My first poem, "Unicorn," was published by my junior high newspaper. "Unicorn" turned me onto free verse.
My grandmother was a poet. She, however, used rhyme.
I fell in love with a 1968 Mustang convertible that my Dad was restoring when I was 14. He swore that he'd save it for me, but he and his partner had to sell it. :(
I met my true love Pavel through the internet.
I bought my laptop on his 25th birthday.
I work two jobs -- my day job 5 days a week, and my high school job on Sundays.
I was known for my eery, haunting digital images and self-portraits in school.

News:

One of my pictures is due to appear on the cover of Circle Magazine. I also have an online exhibit on the website, which features both old and new work.
Pictures of mine have appeared in Maelstrom.
Two of my poems have been accepted for publication in Poetic Voices.
