Evince is the leader of the male egos. He was once a normal gentleman until something unknown happened to him to where he began hating females. His ego (the strongest part of a personality that can possess, or in Kuri's case, the "alter" personality) possessed him and he believed he was the strongest male. He formed another dimension, and reigns there in nothing but dark emptiness. He brainwashed other males that he thought were worthy of having a powerful ego to follow his ways. The army is called his Minions. Evince is the older brother of two, his younger brother, Euphrates, stays by his side totally against Evince's ways of hating females. The only female he "accepts" is Arrato, he allows her to lead her own minion army called Fairies. Evince finds out he is the third most powerful ego, once he knows the strongest is SS3 (male ego of Kurisutaru) he searches for him to kill. But then once he knows a young man named Dante is the second strongest, he goes after him to prevent Dante from being stronger.

Euphrates is the younger brother of Evince. He is against Evince's ways of hating the female species, but is too intimidated by his brother to go up against him. He's always seen standing beside or behind Evince's throne. Because he is pure, Euphrates is seen as full-fledged human in clothing instead of a dark silhouette like Evince and the Minions. In the end, Kuri has to go up against Euphrates once he tries to save his brother's life, and she finds that he is good at heart. Evince tries to attack them both at once but they heal him and the minions. Euphrates ends up becoming Renea's lover.

Arrato is the only female Evince will actually "accept", he still doesn't like her, but he trusts her with missions. He allows her to create her own army, called Fairies, of evil seductive females in order to destract Kuri's male fighters. Arrato goes way back with Kuri when she tried to take Dante away from her. Arrato ends up brainwashing Dante to turn him against Kuri. Kuri arrives at the scene when SS3 possesses her fully to stop Arrato and they go head-to-head. Arrato ends up transforming Kuri into a complete male once, in order to prevent the One from coming. Ironically on her part, the One still appears to stop her from changing his lover. Arrato was thought to be killed, once the others were healed--no trace of her was found.

Samson is the only male (in the original version) that is a "full" male. When the males are possessed by their egos, strangely enough, they have no 'male' body parts internally or externally, like SS3. Samson is the only one with these parts and he tries to take advantage of it by wanting to "claim" Kurisutaru because if she's claimed by anyone else the One will be shattered and she'd be a loner for the rest of her life. Notice how everyone is trying to prevent the One from coming to her, even though the legend is when the One appears SS3 has to die--yet that also means Kuri dies, so there's no explanation why the villians don't want him around. Unless they're so stubborn they want to take credit for killing SS3 themselves. Samson (in the mature version) has a few other Minions built like him and they try to claim all the female fighters. Kuri has to transform into her "male" state (not SS3's possession state), the ability Arrato gave her, and save the female fighters. Evailia helps and cuts off Samson's manhood turning him into a regular Ego. The first step to healing.

The Minions are actually brainwashed casual everyday men, transformed to help Evince's search for the strongest male and destroy him. They're the most seen in the story, always fighting the Alters and trying to kill SS3. They have female counterparts called Fairies ruled by Arrato.

The Fairies are like the Minions, except that they were created, not brainwashed. They are ruled by Arrato instead of Evince because they're female. They are slightly above 4' tall, with flourescent colored skin and wings, each with different "birth" marks.

Micron is the evil super-computer ruled mostly by Arrato. He tries to hack in and destroy SEMI and The System (SEMI's "brother"). He's not successful with viruses, but extrememly intelligent.
