Mom was six days overdue when she finally started having real labor contractions at 2 AM on Thursday morning.  I was born 19 hours later.  Everything went very well except for Mom's rather dramatic tear.  Mom and I came home on Saturday, October 5, and we were very happy to have so much family come to visit and help out.
