For the life of me, I don't know why His Serene Highness, Prince Albert doesn't commission somebody to do a web page for his totally cool annual awards ceremony.  It is by far my favorite of all the many award shows.  Where else can you see anyone sing in Italian? The two-hour broadcast on ABC only has the chance to feature of few of the winners: Here they are.

It seems my request has been granted.  The 2002 awards were held March 6th in Montecarlo.  They were broadcast in the United States on April 21st on ABC from 7 to 9 PM.  I missed that because I wasn’t paying attention.  I bought a new house that month, and I wasn’t spending a lot of time at home.  Fortunately, the show will be rebroadcast on the ABC Family Channel on September 2nd from 8 to 10 PM.  But the best news of all is that there is a real web site with a complete list of winners at http://www.worldmusicawards.com/.
