Served in the South Australian Volunteer Cavalry in 1867.
Son of Emanuel Solomon and Celia Smith.

‘Colonel’ Benjamin Solomon 1844-1922
1860 served in the ‘Field Artillery’ Battery of Adelaide, SA
and in 1878 became a ‘Captain’.
Served in the South Australian Colonial Navy and was
appointed ‘Lieutenant Colonel’ in 1897.
Son of Judah Moss Solomon and Rachel Cohen.
