Remember: ownership of ANY canine involves time, attention, effort, patience, training, sacrifices, money, and commitment on YOUR part! No dog is a maintenance-free showpiece. If you are not able or willing to make that investment--Please, wait until you can provide for him properly before bringing him home. Think hard before you adopt...in the long run, you'll be thankful you did.
German Shepherds look quite "wolfy"--but are far easier to train and handle. And they come in some very surprising colours!
Sibes come in pretty "wolfy" colours as well!!!!!
Have a peek at this pretty sable girl!
Then there's Alaskan malamutes:
And, there are other (perhaps less common) wolfy-looking dogs.  For starters: Belgian Tervs, Alaskan huskies, and perhaps even American Eskimos, keeshonden, and Norwegian elkhounds. The WOLF DUNN has a great page on other "wolfy" breeds. HERE are more links to pics/info on shepherds, huskies, malamutes, wolves.

Some fully domestic dogs, and especially their mixes, are absolutely  indistinguishable from lower content wolf/dog crosses! :)  (Try a Petfinder or PetHarbor search sometime, under husky, shepherd, or malamute mix.)
And Samoyeds:
