Amber woke up the next morning to see AJ talking with Nick at the door.

    "Anybody got any coffee?"she mumbled as she sat up in bed.

    "Hey,"said AJ letting Nick in.

    "I need coffee,"said Amber standing up, she was still in the clothes from last night.

    "Good morning to you too,"said AJ.

    "Oh sorry, Morning,"said Amber opening the door and walking outside. She seen Laura sitting outside her room having a cigarette.

    "Laura do you know where I can get coffee around here?"asked Amber.

    "I got some,"said Laura getting up,"Hold, I'll grab ya a cup." Amber nodded waited for her. A few moments later Laura came outside with a faded pink cup of coffee.

    "Thanks,"said Amber taking it,"Had a bit of a rough night."

    "What happened?"asked Laura.

    "Three o'clock in the morning, my boyfriend and his friend show up,"said Amber sitting down in the chair across the table from Laura.

    "Shitty deal, here have a smoke,"said Laura handing her one from her pack.

    "Thanks,"mumbled Amber as she took it and lit it. Amber looked behind her to see AJ and Nick walking over to them.

    "Found the coffee,"said Amber smiling as she held the cup up before bringing it to her lips.

    "So which ones yours?"asked Laura.

    "That'd be me,"said AJ tapping Amber on the shoulder so she'd stand up. Amber set her coffee down and stood up, AJ slipped in under her and sat down then pulled her down.

    "Laura, this is AJ, and Nick,"said Amber as Nick grabbed a chair from the room next door and sat down.

    "Jesus what am I doing here? Canada is where the honeys are,"said Laura before taking a drag off her cigarette. AJ and Nick kinda blushed as Amber laughed.

    "So what are the plans for the day?"asked Laura.

    "I'm gonna be gone for the day,"said Nick.

    "Where?"asked AJ.

    "Doin' stuff,"said Nick giving AJ that look that said, no questions. AJ quickly nodded and rested his chin on her shoulder.

    "Well I wanna go do something today,"said Amber.

    "Whatever you want,"said AJ. Nick stood up and looked at them.

    "I gotta bounce, I'll be back later tonight,"said Nick.

    "Kay, see ya,"said Amber.

    "Yeah, be careful man,"said AJ.

    "Ya ain't in Kanas anymore hon, this is LA,"aid Laura.

    "I'll manage,"said Nick before walking away.

    AJ sat in the passenger's seat of Amber's car, they sat on the side of the road well Amber looked at a road map she had picked up at a gas station.

    "Ya know these things are nothing like the mall maps,"said Amber trying to find a road back to the motel.

    "Shoulda let me drive,"said AJ.

    "Then we'd be lost without a map,"said Amber.

    "We wouldn't be lost,"said AJ.

    "We would so, you know LA about as much as I do,"said Amber. Amber sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. The sun reflected off her black lens glasses as she looked around, they were in the middle of a deserted area, looked alot like one of those Arizona scenes.

    "Do you have any idea where we are?"asked AJ as he took the map from her. Amber got out of the car ignoring his question, she walked away from the car and looked around, she closed her eyes and flung her arms out straight then started spinning. Slowly she started to get dizzy from spinning and fell down on her bum. She looked up at the shadow that casted, AJ stood abover her smilling.

    "Why do you spin when ever your outside alone with me?"asked AJ.

    "I dunno,"shrugged Amber,"It's fun." AJ kneeled down o her level and smiled at her.

    "You gotta a pretty smile,"said Amber in a baby voice.

    "Ya know I think ya have gone crazy,"said AJ. Amber grabbed on to his shoulders and jumped up using him for support.

    "I'm not crazy, I'm gifted,"smiled Amber before running away from him. AJ watched in awe as she ran around letting her bleach blond curls fall carelessly around her. She looked like a little kid running around for no reason and going no where. AJ walked over to the car and leaned against it watching Amber. Amber came running up to the car and stepped up on to the hood. She crawled over to where AJ was and wrapped her arms around his neck.

    "You think I'm so cute,"said Amber in a mocking tone,"You want to kiss me, and fuck me."

    "Well I ain't arguing there,"said AJ lightly kissing her forehead.

    "Never could,"said Amber as a police car pull over.

    "Oh shit, whatever it is I didn't do it,"said AJ looking over his shoulder. Amber jumped down from the car and stood next to AJ as the car came to a stop and the cop stepped out.

    "Are you kids okay?"asked the officer loudly as he walked over to them.

    "Yeah, I'm from Canada, and we seem to be a little lost,"said Amber in a loud slow tone, imatating the way Canadians are stereotyped as speaking,"Do you think you could help us? Eh?" The cop looked at her like she was nuts and AJ looked like he was going to burst out laughing.

    "Um where do ya need to go?"asked the officer.

    "Well we need to go to the Pink Dolphin motel, me and my brother here, but we got kinda lost,"said Amber,"Don't we, Cletus? Eh?" Amber moved a bit from AJ then slapped him on the ass. The cop gave them each a strange look
 
    "Yup, me and Peggy Sue, we're just one loving family,"said AJ using the same accent as Amber as he put his arm around her and held on to her breast.

    "Uh, ya start going left until you come to a four way stop, go right and continue ignoring all other stops. Then turn right until you come to a stop light then turn, you'll see a Wal-Mart just continue down that road, can't miss it."said the officer. Amber and AJ smiled.

    "Told ya Cletus, the nice officer would help us out,"said Amber.

    "Well you two have a safe trip back and enjoy your visit in LA,"said the officer.

    "Oh we will,"said AJ before kissing Amber. The two of them laid on the tongues making it painfully obvious to the officer what was going on. AJ picked up Amber still kissing her and walked over to the car. He set her down in the driver's seat then quickly ran over to his side laughing. He opened the door to hear Amber's laughter.

    "Oh god that was so funny,"cried Amber almost bringing herself to tears,"Did you see his face?" AJ was laughing as well, for the first time in a while, he was truly laughing, he had real fun.
