AJ looked over at Cori, who was talking with Lexy. He hadn’t talked to her since that moment in the basement where they fought and it had been nearly 24 hours since. He missed her, but didn’t understand why he did.
    “Cori,” he gently asked, causing the two girls to stop talking.
    “Yes?”
    “Can I speak to you for a moment?”
    “Sure.” She got up and made her way to a little corner, where she and AJ could talk.
    “Listen, I’m very sorry for yesterday,” AJ apologized. “I know you want to help Lexy and it’s nice of you, but if they really want to get together, they should do it on their own. Not with us trying to force them together.”
    Cori sighed. “I guess you’re right. I just feel so helpless not being able to help my best friend in any way.”
    “I know you don’t. I understand how you feel. I feel helpless not being able to help Bri and Lexy, but I feel this is all better this way.”
    “I suppose. So we just let them figure it out on their own?”
    “Yes for the time being. Friends?”
    Cori smiled. “Friends.” They hugged and both went back to the others.
    “Hey Cori,” Lexy said with a smile. “Where did you an J run off to hmm?”
    Cori rolled her eyes. “Nowhere keep that mind out of the gutter.”
    “Actually Lexy she couldn’t keep her hands off of me the whole time,” AJ teased.
    Cori glared at AJ while everyone laughed. Nick suddenly got up and started pacing.
    “What are we going to do today,” he whined.
    “Always need attention much,” Brian asked with a grin.
    “Maybe hang out around here,” Howie asked. “Like going down to the lobby and having a breakfast and  then whatever happens happens.”
    “Sounds good to me,” Kevin agreed. The others eventually nodded. “Good let’s go!”
    Nick got up and raced to the door. The others slowly followed him. Brian looked around noticing Lexy trailing behind everyone else. He slowed down to walk with her.
    “Lexy,” he whispered so that nobody else could hear except her. “We need to talk.” Lexy stopped to face him.
    “Not now. Not while everyone else is here.” He stared at her for the longest moment. He loved the littlest things about her. The way she brushed her hair out of her face, or the way she seemed to really listen to what a person was saying.
    “As long as you promise to talk to me.”
    “I promise.” She then ran to hurry up with the others. Brian sighed and quickly followed. They all got to the restaurant and started making plans for the day’s events.
    “I think we should watch a movie later on today,” LeighAnne offered. “A movie’s something quiet and nice.”
    “What you mean like at night,” Cori asked.
    “Well yeah so that way we can all spend the afternoon together doing something.”
    “Personally, no offense, but clubbing sounds good to me during the night,” AJ commented with a grin.
    “You would think so,” Cori said with a groan.
    “Wouldn’t you want to go out clubbing?”
    “I thought clubbing was a term used for underage people.”
    “It is if I go,” Nick explained.
    “Nicky you can get in to real bars and you know it,” Lexy admonished.
    “Only because I’m famous!”
    “Would you rather not go in and stay while we party without you?”
    Nick frowned. “Uh, no.”
    “I thought so.”
    “Awww be nice to poor Nicky,” Cori told her. “He can’t help being younger then the rest of us.”
    “Yeah exactly.” Nick smirked at Lexy at stuck his tongue out at her.
    “Don’t stick it out unless you plan on using it!”
    “Oh believe me babie I will.”
    “Ooo I’ll be waiting for you tonight!” Lexy turned serious. “Seriously though, I’d rather go clubbing tonight then watch a movie.”
    “I’m kinda lookin forward to watching a movie tonight,” Kevin spoke up.
    “Same here,” Howie agreed.
     “Hey Rok you wanna go clubbin tonight also,” AJ asked Brian.
    “Well…” He turned to look at Leigh who was giving him a pleading look for him to stay with her. He didn’t really want to stay and watch a movie. Especially since Lexy was going out with Nick, AJ and Cori. He was also hoping for that quiet time with Lexy to talk to her about the events that have been happening. “Yeah I suppose I’ll go.”
    “Yes,” Cori cried out happily. She wanted Bri to agree because Lexy was going. She hoped that they’d sort through this whole thing and hopefully hook up.
    “So the three of us will stay here then and watch a movie. Just don’t stay out too late okay,” Kevin asked.
    “Of course we won’t daddy,” Lexy teased. Kevin made a face at her. She knew he hated the word daddy.
    “Oooo arcades,” Nick shouted, noticing an arcade.
    “That’s what you’re wanting to do then Nick,” AJ asked him.
    “Of course! Come on you guys you can play as well!”
    “God where does that boy get his energy,” Cori murmured to the others.
    “I have no idea,” Lexy said as they walked into the arcade behind Nick. “Oooo they have air hockey! I love that game!”
    “Ya know, I used to be the air hockey champion back in my senior year,” Cori bragged.
    “So? I’ve kicked all the guys’ asses many times. None of them will play against me,” Lexy countered back.
    “Wanna play a little game to see who is better?”
    “You’re on!” Lexy put some tokens in the game and started the game. It was apparent that both girls were extremely good at this game. By the time their game was up, they were both tied 6-6, each a point away from winning.
    “God you are really good Cori,” Lexy panted after the game was finished. “I’ve never had that good of a workout.”
    “You aren’t so bad yourself girl. Where did you ever learn some of those moves?”
    Lexy smiled. “It’s a secret.”
    “Finally somebody put Lexy in her place,” AJ commented walking next to Cori, lazily putting his arm around her shoulder.
    Cori looked at AJ’s arm, then at him. She noticed he didn’t realize what he did and that’s was fine with her. She felt secure for once in her life with his arm around her. It made her feel excited and happy. She was suddenly brought back to reality by their voices.
    Lexy gave AJ a hurt look. “That wasn’t nice J.”
    “You know I’m kidding!”
    “Of course!” She pinched his cheeks and ran off.
    “UGH,” AJ groaned. “I’ll get you back!”
    “I’m sure you will,” Lexy shouted. She walked around the arcade, at times running into one of the other guys who were playing some sort of game. She spotted Brian and Leigh playin a game together. She sighed as she made a little detour away from them. Why did Bri have to say he was coming with us? Couldn’t he have stayed with Leigh instead? Actually, I’m kinda glad he will be. At least nobody will throw a cow of us dancing together and being close.
    “A penny for your thoughts,” someone spoke from behind her.
    Lexy whirled around and found herself face to face with Brian. “They are worth more then that,” she whispered, her heart beating rapidly at the sight of him right in front of her.
    “Lexy….about yesterday,” Brian began as they were interrupted by Howie walking in the room. “Hey D!”
    “Hey Bri and Lexy! Was I interrupting something,” Howie asked eyeing the pair.
    “Nope we were just talking about a way for Bri to jump start his relationship with Leigh again. He think it’s too boring,” Lexy lied, noticing he hurt look upon his face. She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to not let the way his face fell bother her.
    Howie rolled his eyes. “They are boring to the rest of us single people.” He grinned to show he was kidding.
    “No kidding. I’m getting tired of being single all the damn time.”
    “Hey guys,” Kevin yelled out, interrupting the conversation. “Let’s get something to eat.”
    “Okay,” shouted Howie. He then walked away leaving Lexy and Brian alone again. It wasn’t for long though. A moment later LeighAnne walked up to Bri before he could talk to Lexy again. Lexy gave a sad look to Bri and then walked off with the others.

    6 hours later…

    “Hey Lexy which shirt looks better,” Cori asked. “The Rock Star one or the tube top one?”
    “Tube tops are a little slutty aren’t they,” Lexy questioned eyeing both tops.
    “Slutty ain’t bad when you are single and ready to mingle!”
    Lexy laughed. “I think I’ve hooked you to NSYNC now with that comment!”
    “Fuck no! BSB are way hotter.”
    “Say what you will, but Lance can ride me all night long!”
    “UGH the chick?”
    “Shut up! You know how defensive I get about him!”
    “I know I know. I’m just teasing you. I like the Rock Star one anyway.”
    Lexy held up a black baby tee that said Angel written around a fire. “What about this?”
    “With a black leather short skirt?”
    “Or tight black jeans?”
    “Hmmmm..” Cori looked at both outfits deciding which was better. “I think the tube top would be better for the leather skirt then that shirt.”
    “UGH I can’t decide!” Lexy started looking around for something else, finally finding something after a moment. “I hate going back on my word but slutty tube top it’ll have to be! Except with black leather pants.”
    “Why pants?”
    “More room to dance in,” Lexy giggled as she put on the tube top. “Oh fuck this is really tight on me.”
Cori eyed the top. “It almost makes your boobs pop out.”
    “Good for guys right?” She grinned.
    Cori modeled the tight jeans and the Rock Star shirt. “This look good?”
    “Of course!”
    Cori walked to get her jacket as the phone rang. “Hello, free phone sex, we charge by the minute.”
    “I guess I’m the first customer then,” AJ said sexily over the phone.
    “Yeah right J. So what’s up?”
    “You guys ready?”
    “Lexy, you ready,” Cori asked as Lexy was putting on the finishing touches to her hair and makeup.
    “Yep I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.”
    “Yeah we are ready,” Cori told AJ over the phone.
    “Okay meet us at the elevator in 5 minutes.”
    “Okay later.” She hung up the phone. “Elevator in 5 minutes.”
    “Don’t worry we’ll meet J there in time.” It was weird how Cori had to only say so much and Lexy knew exactly what she meant. The girls quickly grabbed their purses and went to the elevator where the guys were already waiting for them. As they approached, they noticed the guys staring at them.
    “Whoa,” Nick said astonished. He gulped looking at what was only left to the imagination.
    AJ just stood there, his mouth hanging open. He never looked at Cori that way before, and was getting turned on each moment. He just wanted to run his hands up and down the sides of her hips, especially the way they seemed to almost hold her jeans on. He didn’t quite understand why he felt this way though. I mean they were supposed to be friends weren’t they?
    Brian blushed slightly as he looked at Lexy. She always seemed to amaze him. He couldn’t help but stare at her tube top. He could see the perfect shape of her breasts, which were barely covered by the tube top.
    “Um so are we ready to go,” AJ asked, still dazed by Cori.
    “Yeah I think we are,” Cori said leaning over to press the elevator button.
    “You two look very nice,” Brian whispered, his eyes never leaving Lexy’s body.
    “Thanks,” Lexy said as they walked inside the elevator. She couldn’t keep her eyes away from Brian either. She sighed watching him in his wifebeater and jacket.
    “Going down,” Nick asked with a grin as he pressed the lobby button, sending them down.

    20 minutes later…

    Lexy, Cori, AJ, Bri and Nick all walked inside Club 66. Cori noticed how easy it was for them to get inside. All they had to do was flash their ID’s and they were in. She shook her head, grinning.
The club was set up that the whole first floor was the bar and dance floor which most of the people were at. The second floor was the private rooms where people went to get busy. The must varied from Ludicrous and Eminem to Limp Bizkit and No Doubt to Boyz II Men and everything in between.
    “What are we waiting for,” Cori shouted over the loud music.
    “Alcohol of course,” AJ shouted back grinning.
    Cori rolled her eyes and grinned. They all made their way to a little booth, and sat down. A waitress walked up to them as soon as they sat down.
    “What can I get you,” the waitress asked the five of them.
    “Strawberry Dacquri,” replied Cori.
    “Screwdriver,” Lexy told the girl.
    “Sex on the Beach,” chimed in Brian.
    “Screaming Orgasm,” said AJ with a grin.
    “Rum and Coke,” Nick replied.
    “Okay I’ll be back with your drinks,” she said and quickly left.
    “Screaming Orgasm J,” inquired Lexy. “Horny that bad?”
    Everyone laughed as AJ blushed a little. “It’s a good drink is all,” he defended.
    “Sure it is,” Cori said knowingly as their drinks came.
    “Ooo finally my Screwdriver is here,” Lexy shouted excitedly as she got her drink. She started drinking some of it.
    “Geesh a lush Lexy,” Cori asked grinning.
    “Of course!” She pointed to all the others. “They are drinking theirs too.”
    Brian, after drinking half of his drink, started becoming restless. “Come on let’s dance!”
    “Yeah you guys,” Nick said, getting up. Lexy, followed by everyone else, after having a couple sips of their drinks, got up. They got up at the right time it seemed as well. The DJ just started playing “The Bad Touch” by The Bloodhound Gang.
    “I love this song,” Lexy shouted to the others as she started getting into the beat.
    “I wouldn’t doubt it,” Cori yelled back at her. “You and me baby ain’t nothing but mammals so we can do it like they do on the discovery channel!”
    “Rawrr, babie keep singing that,” Lexy growled. Cori laughed as AJ pulled her to the dance floor. Nick, well Nick was already off talking to a couple of chicks, which left Lexy and Bri together. Bri smiled and extended his hand for Lexy to take. She looked at him for a moment, and then took his hand and went out on the dance floor. She thought about her and Bri’s close proximity for a moment and then started dancing again. It was just a dance floor she reasoned with herself. Nothing can happen around here.

    2 hours later….

    Cori and AJ took a much-needed break from dancing, as they sat at their table. Neither had seen the others since they all parted ways. As she sipped her second dacquri for the night, she scanned the dance floor. Right away, she noticed Nick and a couple girls dancing together. She smiled as she looked for Lexy and Bri which were no where to be seen.
    “J have you seen Lexy and Bri,” she asked a little hint of worry in her voice.
    AJ shook his head no. “No, but I’m looking for them too. Don’t worry though I’m sure they are fine.”
    “I hope you are right.”
    “Look!” He pointed to where both Lexy and Brian were dancing in the middle of the dance floor. Cori turned seeing both Lexy an Bri dancing very close to each other, neither really paying attention to how close though.
    “For being best friends with a problem they sure don’t act like it,” Cori commented.
    “Oh man Bri’s gotta be trashed,” AJ laughed. “He like never dances like that.”
    “Like what?”
    He pointed to Brian running his hands slowly up and down Lexy’s hips. “That.”
    “I just personally hope they don’t do something they live to regret. Especially with them in denial.”
    “You mean like fuck each other?”
    “Yeah basically.”
    “Don’t worry I’m sure they won’t do anything like that.”
    Cori drank the rest of her drink. “Come on let’s go back out on the dance floor!”
    “Your wish is my command sexy.”
    “If I told you I wanted you to do that, would you hold it against me?”
    “Depends on what you’re wanting held against you.”
    Cori playfully shoved him. “You are bad.”
    “Eh, been accused of worse.”
    Cori rolled her eyes and dragged him out on the dance floor.

    Meanwhile….

    “Hey Lexy,” Brian shouted at her over the loud music.
    “Yes Bri?”
    “You kinda tired?”
    “Yeah a little! Are you?”
    “Sort of. I like dancing with you more then thinking about being tired.”
    Lexy grinned. “How many drinks you think we’ve had?”
    Brian tried thinking for a moment, pulling her closer to him. “I dunno I lost track after two.”
    “I know what you mean. Time just flies so fast.”
    “Especially with someone so fucking hot,” he murmured into her ear.
    Lexy giggled as Brian leaned closer to her, his hot breath on her face. Lexy leaned in for a moment as they were about to kiss, but backed away.
    “Hey what happened,” Brian asked pouting.
    “Don’t you know it’s not nice to suck face in public?”
    Brian groaned. “Who said anything about that?”
    “Well, if you play nice, you might get a little something later!”
    Brian grinned as Usher’s “My Way” started playing. He gently ran his hands over her ass.
    “Ooo I liked that.”
    “Would you like it my way Poo-bear?”
    “I dunno Usher’s way sounds pretty good to me,” she teased.
    Brian stopped dancing with her for a moment. Lexy looked at him confused, but he grinned at her. He slowly walked around her, eyeing every inch of her.
    “My way, and what I say goes and I’m in control,” he softly sang to her.
Lexy shook her head, clearing it. “Stop that. The way you sing it makes me horny.”
    “What else makes you horny?”
    “You’ll have to wait and find out.”
    Brian wrapped his arms around her waist from behind her and began to softly sway the both of them to the music.
    “Why wait,” he whispered softly in her ear.
    “What?”
    “Why wait until later? Why not make later happen now?”
    Lexy went and grabbed her purse. She walked back over to him a grin on her face. “Let’s go back and not waste another minute then.”

    “J,” Cori whined. “I’m getting tired. Let’s go back to the hotel.”
    “I wore you out already? Wow I’d hate to think of what would sex do to you,” AJ teased her.
    “Not funny.” She grabbed her purse as AJ was waiting for her by the door. “You think it’s okay to leave the others here?”
    “Yeah I suppose. They’ll be able to find their way back.”
    They both got inside the limo, and were shortly on their way back, both lost in their own thoughts.
    “You have a good time,” AJ asked her, breaking the silence.
    “A very good time. Especially dancing with you. I must say you are a good dancer.”
    AJ laughed. “Well, it’s easy having an equally wonderful dance partner as well.”
    Cori smiled. “You think though that Lexy and Bri’ll be okay?”
    “They’ll do the right thing I’m sure of it.”
    “Okay good.”
    “Stop worrying about them okay?”
    “All right J if you insist.”
    “I insist on a lot of things ya know.”
    Cori rolled her eyes. “You so would say that.”
    The limo parked them at the hotel. They got out of the car and inside the building. Once they were inside, they got inside the elevator and went up to their floor.
    “Hey wanna come inside the room for a few,” AJ asked her.
    “Sure. I don’t really feel like going to bed anyways.”
    “And I thought you were tired.”
    “Tired of dancing. I never said I was sleepy tired.”
    “UGH! You have to be difficult don’t you?”
    “Always babie.”
    AJ smiled and shook his head as the elevator landed on their floor. They both got out and went to AJ’s room. AJ unlocked the door and they both went inside.
    “Wow Nick’s not back yet,” AJ said, turning on the lights. “Guess we beat him here.”
    “That’s a good thing though,” Cori commented tossing her purse on the table.
    “How so?”
    “It’s a lot quieter which is always good.”
    “Too true.” AJ sat down on the couch, pulling Cori down so she sat on his lap.
    “You ever think you’ll find someone that you love? I mean the love that’ll last?”
AJ shrugged. “I don’t know. I mean it’s pretty far fetched that you can find someone that is exactly right for you, but it is possible. I’m not ruling it out by all means. Why you ask?”
    “I dunno. I guess I sometimes wonder when I will find that right person for me.”
    “You will. You just haven’t found the right person yet.”
    “I don’t know. I sometimes wonder if I’ll be like Lexy and Bri. They are perfect for each other, but neither will realize it. I wonder if I’ll live my whole life knowing the guy is right in front of me, but I don’t realize it.”
    “You will trust me.”
    “I do trust you,” she whispered as she leaned closer to him, her heart racing. AJ slowly closed his eyes, as both their lips met in an electrifying kiss. AJ kissed her sweetly, his lips gently moving along her lower lip and across her jawline. Cori took a deep breath, enjoying what AJ was not only doing to her body, but her senses as well.
    “Cori,” AJ softly whispered pulling away from her.
    “J what’s wrong?”
    “I don’t want to do this. Not if you won’t remember what happens from tonight.”
    “I’m fine J. I know exactly what I’m doing.”
    AJ shook his head. “Are you sure?”
    “I know it’s not the alcohol telling me what to do. It’s my mind.”
    “Like you said earlier though I hope you won’t live to regret this and wake up not knowing whether we just kissed or we fucked.”
    Cori smiled at his sincerity. She loved how he seemed to care about her. “I know exactly what’s happening okay?” She leaned in again and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
    “Okay I trust you.”
    Cori grinned and AJ leaned in softly kissing her nose, then captured her lips with his. He gently leaned forward, making Cori lean backwards, lying down on the couch neither breaking the kiss. He wanted to make sure that whatever happened, she would remember it forever.

    Meanwhile in a cab….

    Lexy giggled and moved away from Brian’s hands that were trying to tickle her. “That’s not nice running a finger up and down my spine!”
    “Awww I’m sorry want me to make it all better,” Brian asked.
    “Well you have to make it up to me first though.”
    “My pleasure.” He gently started placing small kisses all over her neck. Lexy gasped, loving the feel of his mouth against her tender neck. She grinned as she moved away getting out of the cab.
    “You are such a fucking tease!”
    “Bri you’ve known me what for awhile now? You know I tease!”
    Brian got out after her, both of them making their way to the reception, to ask for a room. Once inside the elevator, Brian immediately put his arms around her again.
    “Would you ever have sex in an elevator,” Lexy asked him.
    “I don’t know. Maybe. It depends on the person. Would you?”
    Lexy smiled at him. “Possibly. I don’t know. It’s something to experience.”
    “Maybe we should experience it together sometime,” he whispered gently nuzzling her neck.
    “Maybe,” she agreed as the elevator doors opened.
    Lexy unlocked the door, turned on the lights and set her purse down. She turned seeing Brian locking the door behind them.
    Brian walked over to Lexy, taking her in his arms. “Ya know, I can think of quite a few ideas of things that we can do, just the two of us.”
    Lexy ran her lips along his jawline, her body pressed tightly against his. “I have a few ideas as well, but they are all naughty.”
    “I promise to be a good boy then.”
    “I'd rather you weren't.”
    Brian leaned down, placing kisses all over her face and neck. Lexy drew in a shaky breath, dizzy from all his kisses and the heat both were generating.
    “Maybe…we should…take this to…the bed,” Brian whispered in between kisses, his hands running slowly up and down her back.
    Lexy nodded, slowly moving backwards towards the bed, pulling Bri with her, neither stopping the kiss. Brian gently picked her up, leaning against the bed, making them both fall on it.
    “I don’t know why but I can’t help myself tonight,” Lexy whispered as Brian ran her hands up under her tube top.
    “Believe me I won’t stop you,” he told her grinning. He gently turned off the lights, neither one realizing how the night would change their lives.
