Sing SONG “ HE IS LORD...

Mat 22:32-40  I am the God of
Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Hey these guys had been dead some 450 years? Hey God is a god of the living not the dead! And he’s not coming back for a dead
Church. He’s coming back for the Church victorious! Church glorious! Church triumphant! No not for an unconcerned, burden less,
prayer less Church or saints. Did anybody catch the promise and hope found in the 1st verse we just read? What a hope! what a
promise!
Hey how about this scripture to go with it, “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord’ or this one “ to live is Christ but
to die is gain, or “ In me ye find eternal life” In other words according to this verse we need not fear death or the doctors report, sickness
or disease. pain of famine. For to be absent from this body or earth is to be present with the Lord of Glory! He’s the God of the living!

38:This is the first and great commandment. :39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. In other words if u get these 2 down u got all 613 covered.

Isaiah 66:1  Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is
the place of my rest?
Did you know God desires a place of rest? No he don’t get tired.. God finds comfort and rest in communion with Gods people

Eph 2:19  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
:20  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
:21  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
:22  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

   Title:  Building a kingdom”
Based on the principle of a love for God and a love for souls.
             PRAY: Our Father..

Somewhere in eternity it took place.. paradise began,  it was wondrous  and  splendid. Heavenly...

But then that sweet communion with God was broken or more appropriately interrupted by SIN which brought
separation and void in mans life.. This separation was never intended to be eternal.

The devil did 3 things here: 1. Got Eve to see what she couldn’t have rather than what she did have,

2. Got Eve to questions Gods word. “Hath God said?“ There’s a  warning here! questioning and disobedience has consequences.
Beware Once you begin to question the word of god or what the man of god saids. Its not soon after that, that you may find yourself
changing or even adding to Gods word as well just as Eve added to what God had said. “for In the day you touch”

3. Got Eve to desire to be as God. “In the day ye eat ye shall be as Gods” So he could eventually get them to worship him as God.
That’s why he loves it when we reject the one God message and doctrine.

In trying to fill the void and emptiness the process of building on the wrong foundation began. Man began to build
for the kingdom of self rather than the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God is and typifies communion and relationship, co-existence with the living, loving God.

Man has and still tries to fill the emptiness within him with everything but God, and he finds that no amount of money,
fame, fortune, good living or fancy gadgets can fulfill the void in mans life. Only Jesus can! Only the holy spirit can
Because within man there is an innate longing for communion and intimacy with God.
And in trying to fill this void man continually builds for the kingdom of self rather than God..   Why?

I often wonder do we know why man builds for the wrong kingdom and on the wrong foundation?
Could it be the LOVE factor? the HEART? is in the wrong place. The book of Revelation 3:7-11,14-20 has some insight on this.

7 Distinct Church ages or attitudes are mentioned. With the co- existence of 2 particular Church’s at the end of
the world and before the return of the Lord Jesus at the second coming..
Laodicea and Philadelphia one representing the love God, the other coldness, unconcern, and selfishness.

How does one become lukewarm? Why does God hate it so much? Which last day church are you?
lovest thou who? John said love not the world neither the things that are in the world, if any man
love the world , the love of the father is not in him” Jesus said lovest thou me? Feed my sheep!
. Jesus said if ye love me keep my commandments.
Hence if we really love God we will busy about the work of God and we will love the man of God,
the work of God, the word of God, etc
In order to become lukewarm you have to have either been hot or cold at one point in time.
Notice: The original Greek words used for cold in this verse is psuchrous which means to be
refreshingly and freezing cold and for hot the word used is Zeo meaning to be fervently or boiling hot.

What Jesus is saying is this; He cant stand folks with one foot in and one foot out, always up and
down, in and out, getting hot then getting cold, coming in cold and only willing to get alittle warm but not
hot. Folks who stand on the side lines, straddling the fence.

If ur not building on the basis of love for God and a love for souls, ur building on the wrong foundation,
And If we build on the wrong foundation there are consequences.
Hey ur work will be tried by trouble and by FIRE!  by the devil and by God? read  1Cor  13: 1-13, and 1 COR 3:8-17
It all depends which foundation your building upon.

Hey u may go into the fire and u may be attacked, you may suffer loss, but don’t give up, don’t throw in the
towel.  DO you know when the silver smith knows when to remove the precious metal from out of the fire?
When he can see his reflection in the fire on the precious metal. He knows the fire has accomplished its
purpose. What does the fire do? It removes the dross and impurities, Didn’t God say we would be refined in
the furnace of affliction and fire. Didn’t David say it was good for me that I was afflicted because before I
was afflicted I went astray. It is in the fire that we are perfected and molded, and character is built.
Its in the fire that my focus and dependence is placed back on God. So when we are in the fire and God can
see his reflection in us. That’s when HE KNOWS we are ready to come out of the fire.

The devil comes to steal. kill and destroy but Jesus said.. I am come the you might have life and life more
abundantly! If God be for you who can be against you, greater is he that is in you than he that is in the
world” and the gates of hell shall NOT PREVAIL against the Church Hey Your not a defeated people..
read  John 8: 31-45 vs.32, 36, 45         HE LIVES...Don’t you ever forget the tomb is empty.

The Living One
A Mohammedan and a Christian were discussing their religions and had agreed that both Mohammed and Christ were prophets. Where, then, lay the difference? The Christian illustrated it this way: "I came to a crossroads and I saw a dead man and a living man. Which one did I ask for directions?" The response came quickly, "The living one, of course." "Why, then," asked his friend, "do you send me to Mohammed who is dead, instead of Christ who is alive?" This is the basic difference between Christ and every other religious leader. All the others came into the world, lived, and died-but none of them lived again. The resurrection of Christ was the one event that persuaded His disciples once for all that He was the Christ, God's Son.

A Solitary Grain
In April, the Sunday school teacher asked all eight children in her class to hide within an empty container a small object that represented new life in the spring.
Not wanting to embarrass eight-year-old Stephen, whose mental retardation was becoming more manifest, the teacher suggested that the children all place their unlabeled containers on her desk. Since she feared that Stephen might not have caught on, she decided that she should open them.
The first had a tiny flower. "What a lovely sign of new life!" "I brought that one!" the donor exclaimed. Next came a rock. "That must be Stephen's," the teacher thought, since rocks do not symbolize new life. But Billy shouted that his rock had moss on it, and moss was new life. The teacher agreed.
A butterfly flew from the third container, and another child bragged that her choice was best of all.
The fourth container was empty. "That has to be Stephen's," thought the teacher, quickly reaching for the fifth.
"Please, don't skip mine!' Stephen interjected. she replied "But it's empty." "That's right," said Stephen. "Jesus tomb was empty, and that means a new life for everyone."
Later that summer, Stephen's condition grew worse, and he eventually died.
On his casket at the funeral, mourners found eight containers. They were ALL EMPTY.
AND THE BANNER OVER HIS CASKET READ: Because THE TOMB IS EMPTY HE  LIVES! And because HE lives we can live...
