I AM BLESSED!             Psalms 32:1

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2  Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
( Notice the word imputeth no iniquity, No the Lord is not blamable for the sin of  individuals nor the world, he did not create sin or evil, man in his choice to rebel gave way to the spirit of sin, but thank s be to God! “for the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death..” that is why he can cover ours sins and forgive us! Notice it saids blessed is the man in whom the Lord imputes no sin and yea is even forgiven of his sin, blessed in the original language means to be happy! to rejoice! but how many of us really appreciate his forgiveness let alone rejoice in it perhaps if we would show more gratitude we would sin less! notice the direct correlation? for gratefulness keeps us minded on the sacrifice made for our forgiveness, and when we remember what he gave for us to have freedom and forgiveness we tend to be more mindful of him and consequently are more inclined to be obedient and  thru our obedience comes in inner joy that sustains and strengthens  us  thus blessed are we!
3  When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4  For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
( you cant hide from your sins “ be sure your sins will find you out” sin must be confessed! sin has consequences, the law of sin is death, but “ if we confess God is faithful and just to forgive “  when we try to cover or hide our sins it comes to bear upon our bodies, our minds, our attitudes, some of us haven’t figured it out yet but day after day night after night we feel so empty and so angry, so neglected and so dry inside our spirit, mind and heart its like nothing satisfies you?  your answer repentance!

5  I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6  For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

( everyone that is Godly? hum.. “ there are none righteous no not one” so how do we understand this verse then? we are not Godly on our own merit or actions though we try to live obediently to him, rather it is because he has imputeth his blood over us, over our sins, so when he sees us in our sin state he sees the blood, not our sins but this does not condone sinful living either, if there is one thing that the church needs to recognize it is that we cannot sit by and condone sin apathetically but by the same token when God forgives sin we have no right to judge and condemn, to dig an individuals failures back up, It is sad but many tend to with hold mercy and forgiveness from others according to the severity of their sin, but this is not biblical, God clearly states that we are to forgive period! it is not our responsibility to judge the sincerity of ones repentance? or whether there is a true change in that person? that is the work of grace! “ but I say unto you that if you do not forgive. . ye shall not be forgiven.. “ And Lord forgive us our trespasses as we forgive others..”
7  Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
( Ah he never fails! if we learn to trust in him and seek his way, his word, his presence, his covering and protection is over us! despite your circumstances and your troubles he will give you a song of joy and victory!
“ he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.. surely he shall deliver thee..”
8  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
(He has promised “ to lead us in the paths of mercy and truth”  Notice it saids with his eye he will guide us, what we need to learn is to see things thru the eyes of God, so many times we fail and sin because we see things thru the eyes of our flesh, we do not see sin for what it is? AN AFFRONT TO GOD! we see only the reward of temptation and not the consequences, we are to blinded by our lust and greed, but if we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us he will guide us in the way that is life, he will lead us to the way of repentance wherein is blessing! healing! and joy! and oh how good it feels to be forgiven..)

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10  Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11  Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
REFLECTIONS:  Now isn’t that something God blesses those who repent!
God actually looks down upon us with tenderness and mercy, he desires that we would rejoice in his mercy not in flesh. Could it be that unforgiven and unconfessed sin results in not only judgment but despair and disease, for guilt is a terrible weight upon our conscience yes even our bodies? stress, sickness, tension and frustration, are just a few of the sad consequences of sin and that have a direct effect on this body physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, but notice if we trust in Gods mercy we are not only forgiven but cleansed from our iniquity.
“ who forgiveth all our sins and cleanses us from ALL iniquity.. and healeth all our diseases “ but the amazing blessing of it all is, he not only forgives and cleanses but he also protects us! He also heals us from most of the consequences that are a direct result of our own foolish rebellion. Now isn’t he good!
Thou art my hiding place.” “ in the secret place of the most high” Oh how wonderful it is to be forgiven! to know that we are declared righteous in his eyes, and that hence forth our prayers are not only heard but answered! And indeed blessed is the person who has been forgiven!

Prayer: Oh Lord we want to lift your name on high! we trust in your unfailing love, for you alone are God eternal! and SO knowing that, daddy we ask you for your tender mercies, forgive us our sins, our selfishness, our self centeredness, father many has been the time when I so easily found sin in others but yet neglected to see my own sin and faults?
Many are the times when I failed to extend forgiveness, and to love as you loved? Daddy have I cast any stones lately? have I forgotten your mercies? have I chosen to hide under the cover of my foolish flesh and human logic rather than in the throne room of God and his tender mercies? have I let the world and friends lead me rather than your divine word and faith? Oh let me not follow the way of flesh but the way of faith and life! when I sin lead me to the rock my savior Jesus! wash me in your warm compassions and divine wisdom, remind me my Lord that it is you who is in control, you who are Lord, and that it is you “ who maketh rich and addeth no sorrow” your compassions are new every day”
Thank you my hero and savior for all you have done and given me ! Thank you for caring when others didn’t ! for coming when others wouldn’t! for believing when they wouldn’t ! above all for forgiving when they wouldn’t! you are my lover FOREVER! bless it be the Lord!     AMEN...
