He careth for you!

2 Peter 1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith..”
( Hey let me ask you... is this faith precious to you? )
2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
( Notice it saids through the knowledge of God not man. The word for knowledge here implies intimacy and communion. A knowledge of and about God, not about sociology, anthropology, astrology, psychology or etc. This implies a relational experience with the God of creation not simply head knowledge..
3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption..” Hey let me ask again are his promises precious to you?

1 Peter 5:6   Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: ( In his time not mine)
7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking           whom he may devour: ( Indeed he is about devouring and destroying lives,  marriages and homes)

Ever felt like no one cares? No one ever notices your pain, your frustration, your situation? your talents? your ambitions? your hopes?

Maybe it’s a reciprocal thing? We reap what we sow, We get what we give!
‘ They that sow in tears shall reap in joy“ For if ye sow to the flesh ye shall reap of the flesh, if ye sow to the spirit ye shall reap of the spirit”
Let me ask myself when’s the last time I showed somebody let alone Jesus, I cared?
Could it be that I’m to caught up in my own hurt, problems and trials that I can’t notice somebody else’s needs. Somebody else’s hurts, hence my own needs go unmet. My own prayers go unanswered. My own tears go unnoticed.

You know what’s amazing! God still cares about me! Still loves me! Even when I fail him, deny him, ignore him, or rebel against him. He is ever faithful! Ever loving.

You know how we know he cares! THE CROSS! saids he cares.
Not your situation, not your circumstances, HIS BLOOD saids he cares!
Not your lack of friends or lovers, not your possessions. But his blood shed for you! His life given not taken for you. ’ He laid down his life for us while we were yet sinners’ This saids he cares! “ Greater love hath no man than that he would lay down his life for a friend “ The air you breath saids he cares for you...
And your going to let the devil, that O wimp lie to you, and tell you by and through your circumstances, by and through your trials, that God don’t care? Who you listening to?

That’s the problem to many of us spend to much time listening to the devil rather than God. Hey don’t let your present circumstances, the NOW situation! negate or cause you to disbelieve what Jesus did in the past for you! thus robbing you of your future. Instead of complaining and doubting try worshipping and adoration.

Maybe we should go back and read verse 6 again; The key word is HUMBLE YOURSELVES. Under the mighty hand of God.

Notice it saids under the mighty hand of God not man. Why God and not man?  Because it is by God’s power not man’s power that we are lifted and exalted. Why not humble ourselves under man? Don’t get me wrong here we do need to be submitted to the man of God!
Notice the word here is humbled under not humbled unto? One implies authority and submission, the other worship and adoration.

Let me try to explain that; this way, Humbling yourself under Buddah, or Krishna, Allah, or bael, won’t do you much good. Won’t accomplished a thing, but it will give you a false hope. It will bring you down not up ( literally )

The way up ( literally ) is through humility. “ blessed are the meek for they shall..”  Shall What?   ..inherit the kingdom of God”

Fasting is a form of humbling ourselves. And I believe we have Gods attention even now, even Gods divine intervention, because you see He does care for you!

I’d like to let somebody know today Jesus is concerned about you. He’s praying for you.
Why “ he lives to make intercession for you” ‘he’s your advocate with the Father’
that shows he cares! Don’t be discouraged my brother or sister, don’t be down,
“ Lift up your heads for your salvation draweth nigh”

Let me close by leaving you with this verse of scripture found in Zephaniah 3:17-20
Some points to consider: Verse 17, He is the mighty God. Vs. 18,  He gathers the sorrowful. Vs. 19, The time will come for salvation. Vs. 20, He will turn around your captivity and make you a name and a praise!
