| ....A thought came to my mind today as I was reading:
I’d like to share it with you my Fren. the quote went something like this, 1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. It made me wonder what does this mean? To think I’m standing? Then it hit me, just that, When I think I’m standing, when I think I’m alright, I’m self sufficient, self reliant, think I got it going on, think the world revolves around me and my problems, think I don’t need anyone, think I can do it all on my own, or how about this on? Think I accomplished all that I am on my own. Think that all I have is of my own work, my own hands, are you getting it yet? It has to do with pride and arrogance, the spirit of independence and lack of a willingness to submit or be under another’s authority. When I tend to think that way, I then set myself up for a fall. There is a quote that said’s PRIDE comes before a fall” the higher you are the harder the fall” Perhaps in alittle retrospect if some or any of us are going through a difficult or troubled time. Maybe we should double check our attitude or way of thinking lately? Hence the way we treat others, see others, or ourselves for that matter. Determines what does or doesn’t happen to us. In other words as the famous saying goes WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND” And personally it is my hope and wishes that you have a wonderful life, so PEACE out. .take care… |
