| 9/1/04 We're calling it quits. Novak and Wilson moved to Chicago. Thanks for all the goodtimes. Check back for more pictures of our last shows. We'll be releasing a four song EP and a DVD of our last tour in the coming year. Stay tuned... 4/17/04 O.K. It's been a long time, but we actually have some things happening now. Just look at the shows page. We have like 9 shows in May so get out and see us, because we'll be taking the whole month of june off due to Garth going to Scotland and Wilson and Novak traveling the country. We got our CD back finnally and we're going to release it fomally mid May. We're looking at the 15th. It's 6 songs, and it really is an excellent piece of work, we're proud. We just got back from Chicago also, that was rad. We played a house with Blackprint and Raise the Red Lantern. There was a Halfpipe in the living room!! Good times. Thanks Joe, and as alway...Johnny!! Look for both of their respective bands to be through Fargo this summer. We're going out in August like always so e-mail us if you can help with a gig. You know the routine, probally Lexington KY and back or something. Anyway see ya'll soon!! 7-8-03 we're still waiting on the recording, details soon...we're booking a tour (look at dates and if you can help please do) tons of shows! We're on a punkhead records comp in chicago with: Ferd Mert, up up down down, against me! and others. check out the cancer merchants link on the main page for details. 5-24-03 we will be recording again, but this time in the bustling metropolis of minneapolis minnesota with longtime band buddy....jeff deslauriers. he's a teacher at the IPR recording school (across from Deja Vu) on washington. he's had tons of recording experience and is familiar with the band and our sound. we have very high expectations. We'll have two full days in the studio, and we're shooting for 10 songs. look for new mp3's of our experiences in mid june. we will have a new CD and possibly a split 7", by july. we'll keep you posted. also we are currentlly setting up a tour for early august. 1-14-03go to mp3.com there's new stuff on it including the song Special Reserve, and a surprise super old live song. (?) we will be recording again soon. tell us if there's any old songs that you think are really worth recording professionally. new buttons are here. thanks for your continued support. 10-3-02we apologize for all the cancelled shows, but it's all circumstances out of our controll. we have other good ones coming up so be sure to check those out. listen to garth and mike's radio show on monday nights from 8-10pm on 1500 am. in fargo the show is called tape.hit.rewind. and features bands that you'd like. also check out. www.dragonradio.org 8-26-02we're home from the tour....we had the time of our lives and we have hella pictures to prove it. they'll be on the site soon. we made tons of new friends and saw so many good bands on the road. a special thanks to all the bands we played with and anyone who let us crash on their floor or made us chicken dumpling soup. we'll be back out on the road in december so watch out. it's nice to be back though, fargo is a good place. 8-5-02 its here!! the CD is done and it's everything we hoped it would be. they're available @ discontent, vinyl connection and ded rockstar for $8. also at every live show. the tour is still happening, but we're not going as far as we hoped. check out the live page for dates. other intresting news is that when something fails got hooked up with Nadia Footwear. (it's a new skate shoe out of California) we got free shoes and other goodies just for being the people that we are. (thanks to Josh Smith) you could call it a pesudo-sponsorship. it's the first real break we've ever got. also garth got a ampeg 8x8 600 watt bass rig, so we're as loud as ever. be sure to check out the website because there's new shit all over the place. also look for us in upcoming High Plains Readers. hope to see you all out there soon. 2-18-02 we had a blast in the cities with endahl. we look forward to playing with them again... great band and super cool guys. we didn't sell anything and we didn't get any new contact numbers, but it was a good time. the lyrics page is under way, so check it out. 1-28-02 When Something Fails has booked a recording session at Makoche Recording Company in Bismarck North Dakota, in March. They plan on recording a 6-8 song CD. They plan on label hunting and hitting the road touring the midwest soon after that..
