The Invasive Species
This is the Chinese Tallow Tree, aka "Popcorn Tree", the biggest problem that we dealed with, this tree was everywhere.  Unfortunately, a large grove of them was found on neighboring property.  This grove was spreading seeds all over Turkey Creek, however, the owner was kind enough to let us remove the trees from her yard.  There must have been about 20 of them on the property.   These spread seeds in a similar fashion to milkweed, but these produce tens of thousands of seeds per tree.
This is the Mimosa tree, aka Florida Aspen.  These are now illegal to sell or propagate in Florida.  These did not appear to be that big of a problem, but I was told that they form entire fields in some areas.
This is kudzu, the scourge of Florida.  This stuff can choke out entire forests, it can cover entire trees and block out the light.  The large lump in the top center of the picture is a smothered tree.
Goats have been found to like kudzu.
