HPA Parts created a limited edition run of silver Firehawk logo gauge overlays to add a unique look to the car, making it comparable to a Carl Black Blackbird, Berger SS or Tom Henry SS, all of whom received the silver faced gauges as OEM equipment.
The set includes RPM, Speedometer, Volt Meter, Fuel, Water Temperature and Oil Pressure, just like the OEM gauges.

Step - by - Step Installation
Gaining access to the instrument panel requires removal of the lower panel, held on by two Phillip head screws.
My installation experience took two hours. You will need the following tools for this install: 1. PHILLIP HEAD SCREWDRIVER 2. 7mm SOCKET DRIVER

After removal of the screws, a 7mm socket wrench is needed to remove the two cap head screws underneath the panel.

Before removing the panel, you will need to disconnect the rear hatch release cable, shown at top left.

The instument panel dash cover is held on by 7 spring loaded clips. Pulling out gently will remove it. It's a good idea to unscrew the tilt steering wheel column for better access

Once the panel covers are off, you are left with just the instrument cluster. Remove by pulling firmly towards you. It snaps into place much like a computer cable connection.

The instrument cluster is held in by 4 cap screws: 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. You will once again need your 7mm socket driver to remove these screws to remove the cluster.

A "Naked" Firehawk Dash. Notice the computerized plug at back where the instrument cluster plugs into. Cap screw insert points are shown at top left and right as small brass colored squares.

The Firehawk instrument cluster is assembled in 2 parts: The clear front bezel and the rear gauge assembly. Two snap clips hold both together at the top and it is very easy to separate the two. At this point, I used a can of "Dust Off" to thoroughly clean my gauge face of any dirt or debris. You will also want to wash your hands at this point to avoid putting any fingerprints of dirt onto the gauge overlays.

After carefully removing the adhesive from the back, you can turn the RPM and MPH needles to the "12 o'clock" position and gently slide the overlays into place. Be careful to line up the white lines on the gray background with the clear openings.

Proceeding in the same manner, you can apply the left side and right side smaller gauge overlays, which are actually in pairs. Once properly aligned, you can apply steady pressure to all overlays to fix them into place.

Reversing your steps, it's now time to reassemble the instruent cluster and reinstall all parts and panels. Don't forget to install all screws and reconnect all plugs.
