Using your yard stick and/or tape measure, you'll see that the banner is 46" long.
Taking your grease pencil and a straight edge, draw a center line mark at 23".
Don't worry: you're doing this on top of the protective outer layer, not the banner.
After thoroughly clearning your windshield with the Isopropyl Alcohol and Paper Towels, blow off any dust residue with your canned air. Using an empty spray bottle (I had a spare Zaino bottle laying around, well rinsed), soak your windshield with a water/soap solution.
This makes it very easy to slide your banner around and into position.
If you choose to do it "dry", once it sticks, you're STUCK!!!
Before applying the windshield banner to your car, use your flat surface tool (credit card will work too) and smooth out any air bubbles between the protective layer and the banner.
In my experience, you should remove your T-Tops for the installation.
Using the chalk, draw a center line on the black "T-bar" and align it with your center line on the banner. With a wet windshield, you have plenty of time to shift the banner up and down and back and forth until you get it "Just Right".
After removing my shoes, i'm standing on the driver's seat from this angle.
Using your flat edged tool, sweep from the center outward to remove the water.
Don't hurry this step!!! It takes a good 10-15 minutes of CAREFUL rubbing
in an outward direction to remove all air bubbles and remove water.
When you are done, simply lift the protective layer at one corner and lift.
BE CAREFUL!!! If the banner begins to lift, you have not rubbed hard enough
and long enough to make the banner adhere to the glass.
