• Current Principal: Sister Mercedes
  • As of 2007, the boarding school of Murree will no longer exist.
From 2007, the school will serve as a "day scholors only" institution initially till FA/FSC. Even now, as of Oct 2006, most of the dorms have been converted to classrooms. The yellow and pink dorms are now yellow and pink nurseries.

  • The Furniture, which was sold off is in good hands!
It was very upsetting for everyone to know that the entire furniture of the school(including our precious piano in the study hall) had been sold off at the price of peanuts. However, you will all be glad to know that it was bought by one of our own students:Parveen Azam Khan(Also on our hall of fame). Parveen is using the furniture for her victims in her organization DOST.The piano was bought by her sister, also an alumni of the school. Sad as it may be, atleast we know that it belongs to one of us...

  • MISS TABINDA passes away!
Alia Malik talked to Miss couttes and has confirmed that miss Tabinda died at 5pm at CMH Murree of Cardiac Arrest & brain Haemorrhage. May Allah rest her soul in peace. (taken from fasiha bilal's forwarded message). Here is a message posted by Alia Malik giving more details on her death:
"Miss Tabinda had actually left CJM back in July 2007 and was teaching in a school in Lahore - she'd even sold her flat in Pindi Point as she had no intentions of returning. Apparantly, she wasn't too happy with all the changes that have taken place in the school in terms of the set up and educational standards - rightly so, that she decided to get away and return to her hometown to teach there.
She had only returned to Murree last night (Saturday) according to the information that Miss Coutts had as she had missed Murree and hadn't really managed to settle back in Lahore, with the weather proving to be a big factor there as well as it's so much hotter compared to Murree, and had spent the night with some friends in Murree with the intention to visit school today (Sunday) to meet the nuns again in the prospect of getting a job back in CJM - but that was not to be. Early this morning, she fell extremely unwell and was rushed to CMH in Murree where she suffered a brain haemorrage - due to which she fell into a coma....Miss Coutts went to see her at that point, and tells me that the Dr's had told her that she was as if dead, although still breathing - she was being assisted with a ventilator....then early evening she suffered a cardiac arrest and that's when she was declared dead at 5.30pm this evening (Sunday). Her step siblings have taken her body back to Lahore - Miss Coutts saw them off in an ambulance from the hospital, where her funeral is said to be held tomorrow (Monday 10th) at 10.00am. Miss Coutts sounded very sad, she like the rest of us cannot come to terms that this sort of a thing has actually happened...I am appreciative of her time though, as I needed to get verification on the news from a viable source and who better than Miss Coutts at this point of time..."
