Before the death of Stephen Mesler, a stage show was performed during the bridge. After the first singing of the bridge line, security officers dragged Kevin onto the stage prop electric chair. Miles would go to the oversized novelty switch and, while still playing his bass parts with his tails and left hand, would flick the switch. Kevin cast a Lightning spell onto the helmet that was strapped on him, but was redirected towards a ground. After a few convincing convulsions, Kevin appeared dead until right before the vocal parts repeat themselves. Then, Kevin would yell, "You can't fucking kill me!"

Death of a Demented Vocalist

During the first half of the Ride The Lightning tour, Kevin drank too much and died onstage during this song, right after the electrocution act. He was rushed to a hospital, but was pronounced DOA. The next day during a televised funeral, Knuckles remembered a spell that successfully revived Kevin. Needless to say, after this incident, he stopped performing the electric chair routine, although he did not stop visiting his outside friend, Jägermeister until the birth of his son Axl.
