27 Weeks pregnant well we may as well stick with this until our ultrasound today because things aren't going to well. I have had severe lower stomach pains to the point I could barely move. This is due to a urinary tract infection. I am on antibiotics but my blood pressure went up and it came down but I am being closely watched. I have a condition called preeclampsia. It's not a good thing I have to rest lots get my blood pressure checked and if it's high I may be hospitalised and worst case emergancy c-section. Lets see how our ultrasound goes.

Obstetric Ultrasound: Indication: Lower abdominal pains at around 26 weeks. Findings: The foetus lies transversely vertex to the right at the time of examination. A BPD of 62mm, Head circumference of 227mm, abdomen circumference of 206mm and femur length of 45mm gives gestational age of 25weeks +/- 9 days an estimated delivery of 10/03/2005. This corresponds with dates expected from the scan of october 12. A normal foetal heart rate of 165 beats/minute was recorded. The cord resistive index is normal at 0.68(normal less than 0.69). The amniotic fluid index is normal at 13 (normal 5-25). The plecenta is anterior and appears normal. Comment Appearances are consistant with a grossly normal gestation of around 27 weeks.

Ok so I must be 27 weeks pregnant well I should be today and that means my due date shouldn't be 10/03/2005 it should be 24/02/2005. We also checked to make sure Kye is most definately a boy because it was an 80% chance before. Well let me tell you 110% sure Kye is most definately a boy we saw very clearly his pee pee. I went to my doctor who re tested my urine and the infection has been leaving my body. I have to go back every two weeks now for my blood pressure. She also measured me and said I am 27 weeks pregnant and will change my due date I was also weighed and weigh now 93Kg's thats 7kg's I've put on since falling pregnant.

Week 28 is the official start of the third trimester and also 7th month and the 7th month goes to 31 weeks and where am I at you ask 28 weeks and 5 days wow how time is going so quick which means we have 11 weeks and 3 days to go!!! I had my photo taken with santa. My how big my belly is getting. The date now is Tuesday the 7th of December 2004 not long to christmas now. "I know it would mean and it would mean that Kye is 8wks early but for christmas if I could have one wish it would be to have Kye in my arms and healthy." But it's up to little man when he's good and ready to meet his mummy and as long as he's well which seems to be the case real active little bugger that likes to keep mum awake at night with kick kick kick and tap tap tap and rolly polly. He's in better condition then his mum.

Thursday 9th of December 2004 and I am now 29wks pregnant and still not in a good condition. The urinary tract infection has gone my blood pressure is normal but some how I got a stomach virus and now also thrush. My throat is also hurting I think I may be getting a cold. So I've taken panadol to keep my temp down and to try and heal the sore throat. I'm still resting lots. The lower abdominal pains keep coming and going it's because my little man is active. My ribs have also been sore and I have felt Kye get his feet under there I must say ouch ouch ouch.

I'm looking forward to the day I actually see Kye doing rolly polly in my belly I can feel him do it but not see it as yet. Back to the bit about having my photo taken with Santa it was a bet by my brother that I couldn't resist I thought cool Kye's 1st unoffical Santa Claus Photo hehehe. So I had the picture taken and I even got chocies and reign deer ears off santa. Photo can be found on next page. Daddy aka David has a Birthday coming up soon on the 15th of December and boy I'm not sure what to buy a man that is turning 35. I guess I'll have to keep my eye's peeled and ears open.
