Standing outside of the hospital looking in, Louis finally realized what he needed to do. He nodded his head about to return to the hospital when Stephen suddenly came out with Annie. Ekin and Louis gave Stephen a surpised estranged look.
"What are you doing with her?" Ekin questioned wondering why Stephen was so hostile to Annie.
"I'm just keeping her away from Joey." Stephen replied dragging Annie away.
"Who the hell is Joey!" Annie questioned again as she noticed more people around. With traid looking men around her, she wasn't too afraid of Stephen becuase unconsciously she was used to these hooligans protecting her since her father was such a big shot triad leader.
Louis and Ekin wondered why Annie seemed confused. "Are you telling me you don't know who Joey is?" Ekin questioned.
Annie glared at him. "Who the hell are you?" she asked looking at him then at Louis who she also gave a terrible glare to.
"You don't remember us?" Louis asked giving Ekin and Stephen a confused look
"I don't know who you are!" she shouted furiously at him because she noticed he wasn't really helping..
"How about Nnadia, Ada, and Kristy?" Louis asked.
"I don't know who you're talking about." Annie pouted.
Stephen shoved the gun closer to her back. "Don't listen to her lies." He said not believing her because he figured she was just like her father, willing to do anything to get herself out of a dangerous situation.
"Do you suppose she has amnesia?" Louis asked Ekin. "She did take a hard dive out of the car." he reminded them.
"That's what I was wondering." Ekin pondered with his fingers under his chin.
"She's probably faking it." Stephen replied.
By this time Frankie had reached the ground floor. "Let her go!" he shouted at Stephen.
Ekin and Louis turned to him. Frankie steadied his aim on Stephen then looked over to them. "Annie has amnesia. She doesn't remember anything that has happened." He informed them.
Stephen was hesitant. "How do you know she's not faking it and will come after the Yang sisters for revenge?" he asked Frankie as he twisted Annie's arm behind her.
Frankie wasn't sure, he just wanted Annie safe. "I don't care. Just let her go!" He replied.
Ekin and Louis still didn't know that was Joey, Nnadia, Kristy and Ada's real last name. They were confused and Ekin asked, "Isn't their last name Lai?"
Before Stephen could say anything Annie struggled to get free from Stephen. "Let me go!" She yelled at Stephen now that she saw Frankie. She knew he wouldn't let Stephen harm her. "He's a police officer!" she yelled at Stephen.
That made Stephen more suspicious of her. "How do you know that if you've forgotten everything?" he asked pulling her away from the three other men.
"He told me a few minutes ago!" Annie protested as he dragged her away.
Nnadia and Leon watched in the car. She was upset at Annie but Annie only took Joey hostage to protect her father so Nnadia couldn't hate her. However, because Joey was in the hospital Nnadia didn't feel obliged to help. She just sat in the car with Leon, watching everything unfold.
Frankie ran after Stephen knowing fully and completely that Stephen was heartless when it came to anyone but Joey. He knew Stephen wanted revenge for Joey and also would rather kill Annie than have a possibility she would harm Joey in the future. Ekin and Louis quickly followed suite. They also realized Stephen's personality.
Leon realizes it's their chance to visit Ada and Kristy without Ekin and Louis knowing it. Leon takes Nnadia's hand and leads her out of the car. Nnadia follows him without resistance, which shows her trust in everything he does.

Ada and Kristy are in two separate recovery rooms besides each other. Doctor Lim and Doctor Ruth are standing outside the recovery room talking about the girl's recovery rate. Nnadia listens to their conversation. Leon introduces himself and the doctors immediately recognize him as the hospital's chief charity director.
"Hello, Mr. Leon Lai." Dr. Ruth greets him
"What brings you here tonight?" Dr. Lim asks.
Leon smiles greeting them. "I was just visiting the children's ward." He replies because the children's ward was the closest location to the recovery rooms. "So what is it I hear you two saying about your patience?" he asked.
They assume he's just having heart towards more unfortunate souls and tell him about the girl's situation. Leon nods "I see." He says with concern.
Nnadia has a concerned look so they ask who she is. "This is my wife." Leon introduces.
Both doctors smile. "You and your wife are such a lovely couple, both so caring and charitable." Doctor Lim said proudly.
"May you be blessed with a carefree life together." Doctor Ruth added.
Leon and Nnadia smiled, "Thank you." Leon replies. "May my wife visit these girls, maybe she can bring words of encouragement for their condition." Leon asked.
"Oh yes, by all means, go ahead." The doctors reply enthusiastically.
Nnadia thanks them and rushes to visits Kristy first because the doctors said she might not make it through the night. Leon keeps them preoccupied outside so that Kristy and Nnadia can have a private conversation.
Nnadia sits by Kristy's bedside in tears. Her sister is hooked up to many machines, IV units, breathing contraptions and bandaged everywhere. "Ru Mui Mui. It's me, Ling Jei Jei." Nnadia says standing above Kristy.
She takes a seat besides her bed. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there to protect you." she cries staring at Kristy. "You have to continue living for me, for Fun Jei Jei, for Yee Mui Mui and mostly for yourself." She cried holding Kristy's hand.
"After everything we've been through, we've survived. Please don't let this silly little thing stop you from continuing your life." Nnadia begged in tears.
"Please continue living. There is always hope if you survive. I promised you will go home. I'll take you home but you have to promise me you'll continue living." She cried throwing her arms around her little sister. There was no reaction from Kristy. Nnadia cried hugging her for a moment.
After a while Nnadia came out of the room and reluctantly smiled at the doctors before entering Ada's room. Once again Leon kept them busy with a conversation about the newest fund raiser he was in charge of for the hospital.
Nnadia saw Ada's condition was just as bad as Kristy's. She almost fell to her knees at that moment. This was too much to take for her. She has always tried to keep them safe but now she didn't know how to. They were in such critical condition.
Once again Nnadia sat besides Ada's bed. "Fun Jei Jei, it's me Ling Mui Mui." She said. "I know I've lied to you about my death but I hope you will forgive me." She cried. "I was doing it for us. So we could have a better future."
She stared at Ada in tears for a moment. "I know you're tired but you're sleeping too long. You've never slept as much as me." Nnadia said remembering how Ada would always wake her up. "Please wake up. As long as you live there's still hope." She pleads.
Just like Kristy, Ada showed no reaction. Nnadia knew it was silly to think that they'd have any reaction but she still hoped they give her one. To her disappointment neither sister gave her any response. After a few minutes Nnadia left the room and returned to Leon. The two of them thanked the doctors who also thank them then they left reluctantly. Nnadia rather stay by them by knew it was impossible.

Now on Annie's end, Stephen still didn't trust Annie and with his determination to protect Joey continued to drag her away. Frankie finally pulled out his gun aiming at Stephen. Neither Louis nor Ekin helped Stephen because they were upset at him about Jordan, Michael, and Sam's deaths still.
"Let her go or I'll have to take action." Frankie threatened.
Stephen smirked at him. He didn't really care if he died or not as long as he protected Joey. It was a big character change from when he'd rather live so that he could live a good life with Joey. He pulled Annie with him.
"Why don't you just let her go? We trust she has lost her memory." Ekin trys to convince Stephen. He's sure that Annie didn't remember anything if Frankie is sure of it.
"She's hurt Joey once, I'm not letting her do it again." He says ready to shoot her.
Frankie immediately takes aim and shoots Stephen in the risk. Stephen drops his weapon. Annie runs to Frankie. Frankie is the sharpest shooter in the police force, he usually had his aim if the target was still enough and in this case Stephen wasn't moving much.
Louis walks up to Stephen. "Let's get you back into the hospital." Stephen glares at him but follows since he's badly injured in the hand.

Shortly after everything was resolved they take Annie back to the hospital then Louis and Ekin go visit Joey, Ada, and Kristy. Frankie was yelling at Annie like he usually does but Annie didn't find it offensive. She could feel the care in his voice.
Louis went to Ada's room first. He sat down next to her taking her hand in his and kissed it tenderly. He cried holding onto her hands. Her body looked fragile holding plugged in to so many machines and contraptions. His heart was crushed.
"When you wake up, no matter what happens we'll be married." He tells her. "I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Nothing matters to me but that you'll be alright and happy." He tells her kissing her hand again. He places her hand back into the blanket to keep it warm. "When you wake up I promise to do everything you want me to." he says kissing her forehead and leaving the room.
He only stayed in Ada's room for a brief moment then went to Kristy's room where Ekin was sitting. He was disappointed that she was in this condition becauseof him. Ekin had his eyes on Kristy as he asked, "How's Ada doing?"
"She's breathing, Doctor Lim said everything is normal." He replied taking a look at Kristy. She was hooked up to just as many machines as Ada.
"Since you're here let me go check up on Ada." Ekin said getting up to leave.
Louis nodded then sat by Kristy's bedside holding her hand. It was cold so he rubbed it lightly in his palms. "Please don't sleep too long. You need to wake up." He begged her.
He stared at her with tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you. I wish it was me in this bed instead of you. Please wake up. I don't want anything to happen to you. He said afraid she wouldn't make it through the night. "I've promised Ada I'd take care of you. Please live so I can keep my promise. Please wake up?" He asked her in tears.
Kristy didn't respond. She couldn't move or talk but she heard Louis like she heard Nnadia. She wanted to respond so much. If she could drop a tear from her eyes that would be hope, but she couldn't. Her heart was breaking inside her when she heard Nnadia and now Louis was just as sad as Nnadia. She couldn't bear seeing the people she loved in so much pain and now she was powerless to help them.

The next day Louis woke up besides Kristy's bedside. He had slept there all night giving his neck a cramp. He rubbed it as he lifted his head looking at Kristy. He immediately checked to see if she was still breathing. A smile of relief spread across his face.
Right then, Doctor Ruth came into the room. "Morning." He said enthusiastic to see Kristy still alive. A look of confusion came on his face. "I thought you were Ada's boyfriend?" he questioned.
Louis nodded, "Yes, is something wrong with her." He asked getting up to leave the room thinking something happened to her.
"No." the doctor realized he was getting concerned in personal affairs. "Please excuse my meddling in your private affairs." He said as he walked over to check on Kristy.
Louis understood what the doctor meant earlier and looked at Kristy. He was more concern for Kristy because he gave Ada his heart but gave Kristy nothing for everything she's done for him. He was grateful towards her but disappointed in himself for not loving her the way she loved him. He wanted to make it up to her and this was the only way he knew how.
"So how is she doing?" Louis asked anxiously.
"She's made it through the night so I assume she'll make it. But weather she'll wake up or not I'm not quite sure." He replied.
"Thank you." Louis said and ran back to her bedside from the doorway he was at earlier.
"Don't thank me too soon." Doctor Ruth said. "Thank me when she wakes up." He said confident that she would wake up.
Louis tried to smile as he watched the doctor leave. He turned his attention back to Kristy. "You're going to live and you're going to wake up. I'm sure of it." He said gripping her hands. "I'll be right here when you do." He said with relief.
At that moment a tear came out of Kristy's eyes. She was finally able to express that she knew he was there. She was thrilled that he was there to take care of her. He saw it and was enthusiastic that she had a tear in her eyes. That meant she could hear him he thought happily.
He wiped the tear away and said, "Please take care of yourself and wake up soon. I need to tell Ekin and Ada the good news. I'll be back."

Ekin was asleep on the couch in Ada's room. Louis walked in enthusiastically. Ekin awoke from the noise. "How's Kristy doing?" he asked in a concerned but tired voice.
"She survived through the night and I believe she'll make it!" he announced happily.
Ekin smiled, "That's good. You seem very happy and confident." He said with a smirk.
"Yes I am." Louis replied walking over to Ada's bedside. Kristy had a tear come out of her eye today, that meant she heard me and could react." He said proudly.
Ekin shook his head playfully. Louis smiled triumphantly as if he won a big prize. He bent down and kissed her forehead. "How's Ada doing?" Louis asked.
"No movement yet but that's a good thing, at least she's still alive." Ekin replied.
Louis brushed Ada's hair form her face. "She'll be fine I know it too." He replied coming closer to her ears. He whispered to her his news about Kristy. He looked at her as if he was waiting for a reply from her maybe a teardrop like Kristy's reaction but none from her.
Ekin sat there for a while and stretched. "I see you're here so I'm going to Kristy's room." Ekin announced. He got up to leave when his cell phone rang. It was their little brother Nic who wanted to know what they wanted for breakfast because he was going to get some.
"Just get us something we can eat fast in the hospital room." Ekin replied then turned to Louis, "Nic's bringing breakfast." He said before he left.
Louis nodded without taking his eyes off Ada. "Please wake up." He begged kissing her hand. "I've waited for someone like you to come into my life. Even though you and Kristy were acting so I would fall into your trap I have to be honest with you, I fell into your trap and now I can't get out." He said holding her hand against his cheek.
"I need you to guide me and be by my side or I would get lost and confused not able to find my way to the right road." He said caressing her hands against his then kissing the palm of her hand.
"For me, for yourself, and mostly for your sisters, please have the energy to wake up. Please have the willpower to wake up." He said staring at her for some sort of reaction.
Ada once again did not react. Even though she heard him like she heard Nadia, she just felt it was the best thing to do. It wasn't that she didn't hear because she heard everything clearly. She wanted to live but at the same time she wanted to die. She wanted to hold Louis but she also wanted Kristy to have him.
She felt that Kristy's life was harsher and Kristy would need him more than her. She felt reacting would give him hope she didn't want to give him. When she pushed Kristy out of the way that day, she wanted to die and leave him and Kristy to live happily for the rest of their lives.

Back with Nnadia, she has been worried for Kristy all night so Leon had the hospital surveillance cameras in the security check point hooked up and connected to his T.V. at home which allowed Nnadia to watch after her sisters in peace for the rest of the night. He had one on each of the sisters which showed on three individual TV sets. It was now a bright morning since she's been watching and worried all night.
"Ekin is such a good husband, isn't he?" Leon asked sarcastically. "He's so devoted to his dear wife that he's uncomfortably stayed up all night without food or rest to take care of her sisters." He said throwing a glass of wine at the base of the television screen.
Nnadia who was attentively watching the clip stared at him with irration that he was drunk and speaking nonsense. "What do you mean by that?" She asked with an angry glare. She didn't have time for this when her sisters were all hospitalized.
