Attack basics by Sotrin and Leaf
Formulas:

One attack on creature:
attack = grope + weapon strength - creature armor
grope  = STR + CON (with a small +/- range)

Weighted average weapon strength: used to rank weapons in table
   W_avg =  weapon strength * (1 - avg number of missed attacks/ total attacks)
Total avg weapon round = W_avg * total attacks

One average round on creature:
avg round =  attack * avg number of successful attacks

note1:  grope is equivalent to bare handed attack strength
note2:  weapons with critical hits (about 10% of attacks) are averaged into the amt
note3:  for weapons that miss the avg  is assumed to be 20% misses, 80% hits

Weapon Strength:

Weapons strength perform within certain ranges that are stable.  The following table shows the ranges of weapons as well as fatigue use per attack.  Rank is based on the weighted average (W_avg) see above.:

Weapon testing method:

To find out a weapons strength, grope a monster.  Find the average hit.  Now...it must be the same monster, I like the hermit crab for my tests since I get to see a lot of data each round and don't have to worry about a major hit.  Wield your weapon.  Find the range of your hits.  Subtract what you hit from when you groped the monster.  What remains is what the weapon does.  Very easy to figure out on the stronger weps, toughest on the weak ones as your grope range will have to be studied closely against what you are doing with the weapon.

Average calculation is taken by totaling all attacks from all rounds, then dividing by the total number of successful attacks from all rounds then subtract your grope amount.  This provides a better measure of weapon strength between weapons.  Sampling of 100 attacks should yield good results.

Fat usage per attack is calculated by dividing number of total attacks into the amount of fatigue lost in that round with a range revealed over several rounds.
Thanks to Cb3 for help with fatigue testing and encouraging me to post it.
Scroll research: from SoS guild by Snuffles1996 and Tyrantdude
Ice scroll
dex * int / 150 damage added per level
or...
ice level needed to kill creature = (creature life *150) / (dex * int)
Fire Scroll
dex * wis / 200 damage added per level
or...
fire level needed to kill creature = (creature life *200) / (dex * wis)
Ring research: from SoS guild by Sotrin
2 Groping Carnage rings VS 2 Nova rings
when dex > (str + con + wpn str + 280) / 5.8
then 2 Groping Carnage rings will give more attack per round
Creature armor testing method:   under construction

Ok, now for monster armor.  It's very easy to find out.  Your grope is your str + your con.  Grope a monster.  the difference between what you hit and what you grope is the monster's armor.  With tougher monsters you can use a wep, but then you've got to consider it's hit range.  On very weak monsters, use short attack display.  It will give you what you did in the 1 round.

Note: testing of higher grope levels using 2 GCrings shows that the creature armor remains constant per attack.

Update... from SoS guild
Advances in results are being made available as percentages in Tyrantdude's guide.  Static amts for creatures will be added to my creature stats when i can find the time :)
Things to consider for future research:

A few important things I don't know yet.  Lets say I grope a gypsy (sounds fun, hehe).  I'm gonna get a small range of numbers.  Now is the range smallest when str and con are the same number?  Also, is the range always the same, will I get a +/- of lets say 15 against a gypsy, a zombie, a hermit crab?  If so, then the monster armor is a set number.  If not, then its also has a range.
