But what about all the codes I've heard about? Cheat codes. They rarely work. Contrary to popular belief, you will not find Mew on the coast of Cinnibar Island, or in Mewtwo's cave. Mew cannot be captured by trading for a surfing Pokémon before boarding the Saint Anne, sailing to the "secret"/New Island and moving the Truck. Mew is not a mechanic. Mew is not hiding under the truck. Mew cannot fix your muffler problems.

If this is true, where did my friend get Mew? Your friend has either used a GameShark, traded with someone or won the Promotional contest Nintendo ran a few years back. Either that, or this friend is pulling your leg about having a Mew. Ask to see it. Heh heh heh...

Can you show me some codes anyway? No. No, because when you don't get your cute little pocket monster, you won't love and respect me anymore --I just couldn't bear that! Saracasm aside, I simply havent tested any of these codes, and for that reason don't want to promote any.
