JoBee's Jammin'Picture Room

Greetings! and Welcome! To my picture room where I hope you will enjoy some of the pictures of places in Virginia I have grown to love. Also some pictures of me and the bands I have been in and the instruments I most like to play. Hope you enjoy your visit and will come back soon.

Crabtree Falls, located in the mountains of Virginia. This is one of my most favorite places to go and find peace. Most beautiful and romantic area I have found besides an evening on the beach with moonlite dancing on the waves as they roll in from the ocean and kiss the shore.

The band Mixed Media, I had more fun playing gigs with this band than any other group that I have played with. My friend Eddie Paul and I still jam as often as we can (he's the drummer, and a most execellent drummer). I'm the guitarest on the right playing the Black Fender Strat.

For me the most fun is to JAM. Here is a backyard jam session that went on for hours. If you could play an instrument or sing you would be welcome to join in and make some music, and have some fun.

The Gibson ES335 electric guitar was my most favorite guitar, I use the word was because the one I had was stolen *a tear comes to my eyes* about a year after I had purchased it. For me there are 2 amps that I most like, they are the Peavey and Fender. I have 2 Peavey amps. a small 60 watt studio amp and for the larger rooms a six 10" speaker 300 watt standard. I intend to get one more amp soon and that will be a Fender Twin Reverb amp with two 12" EV speakers. This amp for me has the tone qualities I've looked for. The Peavey amps, I like to think of as very reliable working amps. I also now own and play two other guitars an old Fender Tele and an equally as old Gibson The Paul. Both are great guitars and are like family to me. I also had at one time a Black Fender Strat, also a very good Guitar to play.

Here is some views of the mountains of Virginia. I really love to leave the stress of my every day life and go to the mountains and enjoy the peace and serenity of nature. To climb a cliff or the face of a water fall, to visit a cave and experience total darkness, to repel down a 180 foot sheer drop or just lay down and look at the stars like diamonds thrown across the black night sky, renews my very soul.*gees this sounds great, lets go* I try to go as often as I can. The difficult part is *sigh* I can't yet find a way to stay.
