Employment/Experience
During my industrial attachment, I was attached to
Presscrete Engineering Pte Ltd from January 2000 to July 2000. I worked in both
the geotechnical and structural department and was given three projects to
handle.
1.
One
of the projects requires me to supervise the post–tensioning of the
beams of a high-rise building.
2.
The
other project requires me to supervise ground improvement works at the
Esplanade with the use of jet grouting.
3.
The
third project requires me to supervise shotcreting at the station box at
the Changi Airport MRT.
From June 2000 to May 2001, I did my final year
project on steel-concrete-steel composite slabs sponsored by Yongnam
Engineering & Construction (Pte) Ltd. I was part of a two-man research
team, doing experiments and finite-element analysis on the project. Details can
