Parent Troubles
Sung to the tune of Love Potion Number 9
Thanks to all the people in my group of Mini Musical at Explorations '96! Without them, this would never be a song. Please note: Nothing in this song is true or really happened.
Verse 1:
I've got troubles with my parents now.
They drive me crazy don't you ask me how.
They're far too protective, there's nothing I can do.
I've gotta let my feelings out,
That's why I'm talking to you.Verse 2:
My mother makes me go to bed at four.
She threw me in my room and locked the door.
I opened the window, and let out a big shriek.
Her punishment for me was: no TV for a week.Verse 3:
My father can be an annoying guy.
He drives me crazy don't you ask me why.
He makes me watch shoes that I really hate.
And worst of all I'm not allowed to go out on a date.Verse 4: (change melodies)
I called up Jo-Jo and I told her 'bout this.
She said "kid, I love you and I give you big kiss."
I told her 'bout my troubles I was feeling such rage.
She said "I'd love to help you but, you're underage!"Repeat Verse 1
