Family


Welcome to my family.

This is my dad, Rogério Pinheiro. He is a doctor. He is a surgeon and proctologist. He also does endoscopy (if you don't understand these words don't worry, they're medical terms). His hair is very messy in this picture... ask him if he cares. He lives in São Paulo, SP.
And here's a more recent picture of us, preparing for a nice brazilian-style barbecue. His hair is still messy, oh my... São Paulo, December 2002.

This is my mom. She is an optometrist. She works with kids and also with grownups.
And here's another picture of my mom with me (right) and my "sleeping" brother (yeah, he blinked). Christmas night, Serrinha, RJ, 2002.

My 21th birthday (May 9th, 1995) with my brother Pedro. Pedro is a pilot. I've had the pleasure to fly around with him. He has survived a plane crash, thanks to his experience in flying (I'll try to find the picture of the remains of the plane sometime).

And this is me and him again, in our mom's apartment in SP. January, 2000. (That's why I have these 2000 glasses on!)

This is my grandfather. He is trying to be weird! I guess he did it, huh?


My cousins and aunt. From left to right: Marcelo's girlfriend, Marcelo, me, aunt Sonia and Ana Lucia. Marcelo and Ana are the son and daughter of aunt Sonia, so that makes them my cousins. This picture was taken in Princeton, NJ, where Marcelo goes to grad school (he studies economics at Princeton University). Ana lives in NY with her husband. My aunt Sonia lives in Rio, Brazil. We met purely by chance this day. What a nice surprise! Nov, 10th, 2001.
