Karen and Shellie Poole, 25 and 24 respectively, are the pop sensation Alisha's Attic. Origionally from Essex, the sisters along with their co-songwriter Terry Martin write beautiful songs which fit nicely between the catagories of rock and pop.

Their debut single, "I am, I feel" released in July 1996 stayed in the Top 20, at number 14, for seven weeks, and earned an award for the best song musically and lyrically.

Their album "Alisha Rules The World" followed, and soon after their single "Alisha Rules The World" came out in October '96 and also went into the Top 20, at number 12.

The third single off the album, indestructable, released in March 1997 went straight to number 12 in the charts, along with their beautifully made music video and the b - sides 'Sweet Escape' and 'Army Of Fools'.

Their latest single, released on June 23rd, is a re-mix of the song "Air We Breathe", and with cryatal clear lyrics, this song was another hit, reaching to number 12 in the charts. The b-sides on the single include 'Bitter Lemon' and 'The Inevitable'

Their latest album, "Illumina" was released in '98 allong with the single "The Incidentals".
