What do you think of the dance floor - I had it installed
especially for dancing. I love to dance! A few years ago I spent an
obscene amount of money on ballroom dance lessons. As a result, I can
now honestly say that I am a mediocre dancer. *lol*
If I had to choose a dance as my favorite, I'd have to go with a slow,
sensual rumba. Actually, any of the latin dances that allow you to get close
to your partner work for me! *smile* What woman wouldn't want to
be held close in her partner's strong arms. Unfortunately, my circle of
male friends does not include latin style dancers, so for the time being my
dancing consists mostly of the Hustle (Yes the Hustle! ... its
making a big comeback, just ask Johnny!)
I'm now learning the West Coast Swing which is really popular in the country
dance clubs so with any luck I'll soon be out dancing a lot more.
I want to take just a second to thank my friend, Vicki, for her encouragement
and friendship. Vicki is an incredibly talented and expressive dancer
who has attempted to teach me some of her fancy footwork ... I'll
keep trying Vicki! If you're ever in Hudson, Florida and need to
get your hair done, stop in and see Vicki at her shop, Kut 'N Time, on US Highway 19 just south of SR52 ... she'll take real good care of you and tell her Karen sent you (maybe she'll give me a free hair cut! *lol*)
