The Cape Spear lighthouse is the oldest surviving lighthouse in Newfoundland, Canada.
It has served as the chief approach light for St. John's harbor since 1836


Modern equipment was installed in this tower located next to the original

lighthouse which has been restored to it's original appearance


Signal Hill, located in St. John's, the capitol city of Newfoundland, Canada, is a National

Historic Site and a major tourist attraction. It is from here that Guglielmo
Marconi received his first transatlantic wireless signal in 1901


THE SILENT WITNESS: Located in Gander, Newfoundland, this statue was erected by personnel of the 9 Wing Canadian Forces Base. It is dedicated to the memory of those who died in the 1985 Arrow Air Crash Disaster and stands on the site of the crash, approximately 900 ft beyond the departure end of runway 22
