Reflector Rules
All users need to be aware of some standard practices. There are a number of things that will not only make you a disliked individual, but will also get you BOOTED or possibly BANNED from the reflector. Since it only takes one person to ruin what might be a great CuSeeMe experience, please read and understand these rules so that all users may benefit. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to be aware of and abide by these rules.
All Reflector monitors and other users will be respected
We are all humans and should be treated as such. Commenting on another users Race, or saying anything degrading against them will not be allowed. We are all here to enjoy the company of others and racial status should not be an issue.
Don't harass users to do anything
Nobody comes to the reflector to be told what to do. The other users of the reflector are here with their own needs, wants and desires. Saying "Show me your breast!" or "Spread em' for me!" will not be tolerated. The reflector can be of an X-rated nature. However, we feel its important to remind people that demanding sexual activities in the form of exhibitionism is rude and disrespectful and will not be accepted. Violating this rule once will get you a warning a second violation will get you removed from the reflector immediately.
Never Assume
Not every user who logs into the reflector is there for sexual interaction. Many users just come to watch or participate in the conversation.
Don't argue with anyone.
It is the Reflector Monitor's responsibility to handle and eliminate any possible problems in the reflector. Even if the individual is being a real jerk, and you're right. It will still get you nowhere. And will only cause the individual to be a bigger jerk. And all the other users to leave. Who wants to stay if a fight is going on? Everyone will see there's an argument and "poof", they are gone. Arguing will not be tolerated and will result in the individual and yourself being kicked out of the reflector. If you have a problem with someone bring it to the attention of a reflector monitor and he/she will take care of it accordingly.
Always send live video
What is the use of joining a Video reflector if you choose not to send video? Show live video or leave. The reflector monitors will require you to show your face when you enter the reflector so they may verify that you are of legal age to be in an Adult reflector. After that you may place the video whereever you choose. However, No blurs, out of focus, or washed out video. Don't send video of the wall or your keyboard. You must send live human video at all times from which it is easy to tell whether you are a male or a female. Unacceptable video will get you kicked out of the reflector.
Don't Geek (private chat) or continually request DC without permission
Please refrain from geeking another user without first asking their approval in Public. Some Users do not like the interruption, and considers it very rude. Joining a public chat room usually means that they prefer chatting in public. The same goes for requesting a DC with them. They would not be in a public chat if what they really wanted was to be in a private chat. Also if a user is geeking you without your consent or being rude please do not try to handle it yourself. Bring it to the attention of the reflector monitor, copy and paste any unwanted comments to the reflector monitor and the violator will be warned and/or removed from the reflector.
Don't ever capture screens or video from within the reflector
The security of the reflector relies on the ability to maintain confidentiality. Any individual found capturing pictures or streaming video from the reflector will immediately be banned for life. This rule will be
enforced upon both users and reflector monitors. Zero-tolerance for actions of this nature are in effect whether the act was for public, private or any use what so ever.
As stated before these are standard practices and should not be hard to understand and follow. If you have a problem with any of them Please feel free to email me a-escape@home.com I assure you that all comments will be taken into consideration.
The reflector monitors are here for your safety and comfort. Whenever a problem arises in the reflector Please tell them about it. They will know what to do. They are also here to have a good time and chat with you. And always appreciate a day free of conflicts and problems, and getting this is up to you, by following the rules.
Final Rule and most important is to enjoy yourself.
Please consider this your ref. Your ESCAPE from the outside world. We want you to be comfortable, and feel welcome. Your input and comments to any ongoing chat makes the reflector a more enjoyable place to be. So feel free to join in at any time. The More the Merrier.
