Serenading audiences with soulful songs that come from the heart like IWYB off their '98 self titled album, and dazzling crowds with delightful dance steps have become 2nd nature for 'N SYNC, the totally talented quintet. But getting up and going out takes some time, and even a tiny bit of talent, for these songsters. It seems that washing up & tossing on clothes isn't what slows these sweeties down. Believe it or not, these honey's hard-core holdups are all about their hair Take curly haired Justin for instance. If it wasn't for dabbling over his do to find creative ways to control it, this 17 year old sweetie might have put you to sleep waiting for him! "Lately ever since I started being able to work with my hair, that's when I started getting ready faster," "I tried a brush in my hair before & that doesn't work with my curly hair."

It wasn't so much flair for hair that helped tame his mane & decrease the delay before he hits the door. " I just threw some gel in it & then just slicked it back & then just kind of messed it up real quick," the bleach blond babe shares about the secret to his kinky curls."Use my fingers, put the in them & just put all the gel in my hair and rough it up." Not too shabby! Now Justin's prep time is narrowed down to 15 minutes(that's not bad at all!) and taking a short shower (he says he stays sudsy for seven to eight minutes). The only thing that slows the former MMC kid down these days is modeling in front of the mirror. " Yes I will confess to that," he smirks.

Justin isn't the only one who might have minor hair holdups before heading out. There's no way Chris would get out the door before he stopped at the shower to shampoo his do "I have to was my hair", Chris exclaims. "I just have to be real careful. Like when I put shampoo in, I always have to go down each braid & put the shampoo in the braid. "Although soaping his strands is a slow process, once hat part is over Chris just throws on clothes and he's ready to go. "I love them because it's easy to do," 26 year old Chris enthuses about his dreads.

Joey, who sports a simple slicked back style, doesn't dwell over his lovely locks. Instead old cutie has a quick & easy remedy for minor mane mishaps. "Say my hair's out of place, I just throw on a hat & go!" But that's not to say he would show up for a date decked out in kickback clothes and an old baseball cap. "If I am going out or something then I may take a little more time than I normally would," he admits.

Taking a little bit of time to experiment with primping products before he sets out is JC's style. "I like to try new stuff, I guess, but right now I am kinda on a like a mixed up routine, 21 year old JC shares about how he keeps hair in place and off his face." I'm either using gel or I like wax, Wax is kind of nice 'cus then it still moves a little bit." Sounds like JC has got his 'do down for now, and you can rest assured that this baby balled-belter will always be washed and ready when he's out and about." I'm real strict on myself, I always was to be fresh."

The babe of the bunch who definatley doesn't cause delays when he's getting ready to go is Lance. "I take 10 minutes in shower & put some stuff in my hair, not much," Of course this wash & go guy doesn't have to do that much to get super cute because his cropped crew is short & simple! Simply put these gorgeous guys with the sweet, soulfoul voices are majorly dateworthy, no matter, how matter how long it takes them to do their do's and get decked out in their dazzling duds...Don't you agree?

Interviews; Chris Kirkpatrick

Tell us a bit about your self: I'm Scottish, Indian, Spanish and erm....that's it. I was born in Pennsylvania but now I live in Orlando with JC, Justin and his mother. I'm the eldest - and most hyper - member ; I need lots of calming down!

Likes and dislikes: I like beaches and I live near one. I love writing and listning to music so I've insted in a laptop to make life easier. I've really short attention span so things tend to bore me easily, which I hate.

Biggest music influence: I'd have to say it was the rest of the band. I know how hard they work and their reasons for doing it, I just think they're incredible. Michael Jackson is my most famous influense though.

Best thing about beeing in a band: Seeing my musical ideas come to life and meeting new people in new places.

Have you ever been in love? Oh yeah, I've fallen in love twice. The last time was a girl called Catherine. It lasted three months and was my longest relationship.

Who would you have one 2 one with? Mozart. He was a genius. I'd like to know how he thought and where he drew his inspiration from.

Interviews; Joey Fatone

Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm 20 years old and was born in Brooklyn, New York. I moved to Orlando six years old with my parents and brother Steve who's 22. My sister Janine is 24 but lives on her own.

Likes and dislikes: I love Superman memorabilia and collect the t'shirts, jewelry - anything and everything. I also love dancing and going to clubs. The thing I hate of all is fake people, enough said. Oh, and apart from skating I'm useless at sports.

Biggest musical influense: My dad. He used to sing in a group called the Orions. They weren't famous but they were great. He listened to a lot of older, 50s music and that's what first influensed me.

Best thing about being in a band: The travel definitely. I love visiting different places, and London is just great. There's a real buzz about the city.

Have you ever been in love? I've had really strong feelings for a girl called Dinay, but it wasn't love. We went out for about four months at high school. She left to go to college and that was the end of it.

Who would you have one 2 one with? William Shakespear - he was brilliant. I'd like to know what he was thinking about when he came up with the plays.

Interviews; Justin Timberlake #1

Tell us about yourself: "I was born in 1981 which makes me 16; the youngest. I'm originally from Memphis but right now I share a house with Chris, JC and my mom in Orlando."

Likes and dislikes: "I love basketball and whenever I have the chance I play like crazy. I'm also a bit of a shopaholic, and collect North Carolina basketball gear. I hate snakes, fake people and my curly hair!!!"

Biggest musical influence: "Stevie Wonder, he's incredible."

Best thing about being in a band: "Being able to make music, meet people and travel."

Have you ever been in love? "No, I've been infatuated and had a few crushes. I'm not waiting for it to happen but I won't run away when it does!"

Who would you have One 2 One with? Michael Jordan, my idol and one of the biggest achievers. I'd start off by asking him why he quit basketball and well, we'd just carry on from there.

Getting along: "Sometimes we get on each other's nerves though," says Justin. "We argue about hairstyles, clothing, who gets to talk to a girl first... Joey always wins that one. He's definitely the flirt of the band."

Quotes about the love issue from Justin:

"To me, it's about personality. Cute girls obviously catch the eye, but you need to get to know someone before you fall in love with them. I don't know, I'm only 16!!"

Interviews; Justin Timberlake #2

Unbelievable but it's true! Justin Randall Timberlake (1/31/ 81), the cutest and most popular guy of the new American boy sensation 'N SYNC , hasn't had a girlfriend for months. ' Nevertheless the hunk ( his nickname is Curly) receives daily hundreds of love letters, often from way cool gals. But he doesn't dare to write back. Justin has been very careful ever since his big disappointment.

Everyone could have seen it last Saturday ( 12-04-97) in 'de Muziekdoos' (The Musicbox) at channel TV1 When you show your face everyone gets hysterical. Disco Carre got almost demolished.

And our little white tour bus also had to suffer. You should have seen it at the end of ' 96 when we went overseas for the first time. Then it was virginal white and shiny. But it didn't take long before it was covered with ( love) messages. Most of them to me. Meanwhile the bus has been attacked by hysterical fans so may times and as a result it is covered with dents.

Well did your fans get what they wanted??

Errm ,.... my friends Lance, Joey, JC and Chris and I try to be there for everybody. If possible we give out autographs. We don't want to be ghost artists who don't have contact with their fans. Take the BSB for instance, as a fan you can't come near to them, unless you have won a contest. That's bad! We handle it differently. Some fans want of course the impossible. The want a one night stand with me. It's them we have to disappoint. Don't forget that my mom Lynn goes everywhere with me! I'm only 16!! She s still watching over me like I m her baby. I don t even have to think about sneaking a girl into my room!

Just as guys: Have you had many loves?? !

NO! I'm not a butterfly ! I was 13 when I had my first real kiss. Mindy was a girl who also worked at the Disney Studios. Then one day one of our friends had a birthday party and then it happened. It was like there was nothing else in the universe but us. Too bad it only stayed by that one kiss!!

But I take it there was not just one girl !!!

I never had the chance to. You have to know that ever since I was 12 I had a private teacher and at that age I started hosting the 'Mickey Mouse Club'. It may sound unbelievable, but ever since I've had a totally different lifestyle than most of the other kids my age. I was usually surrounded by older people. And according to them girls didn't belong in my life. I have to admit, nice is different. The first few years it was easy for me to suppress my feelings, but after a while I started getting quite pissed off. But by chance I all of a sudden got -just in time - I found someone.

The producers of the ' Mickey Mouse Club' gave a huge party. Danielle was a viewer who had won an invitation. We got on right from the start. I was head over heels in love. She was my first ( big) love, even though we never got intimate. For I am still a virgin.

For how long were you two together?

Nine months! At the end of '95 it was over. I had made a terrible discovery. She cheated on me with someone else. That's when my world ended for me. You cannot image how hurt and disillusioned I felt. I never want to be humiliated like that anymore. That's why I am determined never to commit ever again You should have seen me when my best friend told me. I thought by myself:' If all girls are like that then I don't want it anymore!' Nevertheless I tried to forgive her. But she didn't want me anymore and she broke up. I surely had 6 months to get over it. Whoever has been in the same kind of situation knows I have been through hell. I m very scared to have to go through that again! Fortunately some time later I started 'N Sync with JC, Joey and Chris. Which healed the pain. Thanks to 'N Sync I've other things to think about.

Being so famous must be the greatest thing in the world, no?

My whole life I've dreamed about this. As a child I wanted to become a basketball player like Michael Jordan or become a singer. One wish is already fulfilled, though for the other one I still have to grow. Since I'm 1.83m I'm too short for a professional basketball-team. Just wait until I'm grown up!

How was your childhood, up to now?

Everything except normal. We still lived in Memphis ( Tennessee) when I took part in talent shows. When I was seven I played lead roles in plays. And when I was 12 , I got that in that fantastic Disney opportunity , where I was talking about just now. My mom and I then moved to sunny Florida. In the mean time my parents got divorced, which I never thought of as a handicap. Because my mom is such a great woman I had an exciting childhood. Which not most other guys my age get these kinds of opportunities. At the Disney Studios I was able to prepare myself as a singer and a dancer. My life is like a fairy tale. Daily I receive about 500 fan-mail letters. And with 'N sync doing so great I get even more. It feels great to be liked. I only have to overcome my doubts, and I have to forget that hurting memory and start all over again and then the world is mine!'
