The Southern Chronicle is an hour-long television magazine dedicated to serving the Middle Georgia community by providing informative, educational, independent programming that promotes understanding and appreciation for the valuable way of life that can be well preserved and even flourish in a liberty-based society such as the Framers established in our nation's early years, which commercial media would not normally air for reasons of political incorrectness, perceived commercial non-viability, etc. Our programming features a variety of newsworthy local or regional events oriented toward preserving and documenting American and particularly Southern culture. Also, with permission, we occasionally televise documentaries by independent producers as a public service of an educational (artistic or historical) or civic (current events/issues) nature. The programs are produced in cooperation with the Middle Georgia Chapter of the League of the South and oftentimes with other organisations' cooperation, and are telecast on Cox Cable Channel 18 in the Middle Georgia area (Macon and Warner Robins and parts of Jones and Peach Counties). Shows air twice weekly - Tuesdays at 10:30pm and Saturdays at 4:30pm.

The Southern Chronicle proudly acknowledges the patriotic ladies and gentlemen of the Middle Georgia Chapter of the League of the South and the gentlemen of Camp #1399 (Warner Robins) of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. These Southern Patriots have proven themselves to be people of action as well as honour in defense of the Real Georgia Flag and the good name of all for which it stands, who answered the call of duty to defend Georgia and all the Confederate States against Northern invaders in 1861 through 1865.

The SOUTHERN CHRONICLE is broadcast on Cox Cable Channel 18 (Macon/Warner Robins) Tuesdays 10:30pm and Saturdays 4:30pm.

"He alone deserves to be remembered by his children who treasures up and preserves the memory of his fathers." --Edmund Burke (1729-1797)

"The sword is mighty, but principles laugh at swords.  Overwhelming force may crush truth to earth but, crushed or not the truth is still the truth."
--John S. Tilley, The Coming of the Glory (author of War for What? and The Coming of the Glory)

"People separated from their history are easily persuaded." --Karl Marx
The history of an oppressed people lies hidden in the lies and the agreed-upon myth of its conquerers.--Meridel Le Sueur

“All that was, or is now, desired is that error and injustice be excluded from the text books of the schools and from the literature brought into our homes; that the truth be told, without exaggeration and without omission, truth for its own sake and for the sake of honest history, and that the generations to come after us not be left to bear the burden of shame and dishonor unrighteously laid upon the name of their noble sires.”  Rev. James P. Smith, Staff of General Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson, C.S.A .

" A nation which does not remember what it was yesterday does not know where it is today...The reputation of an individual is of minor importance to the opinion posterity may form of the motives which governed the South in their late struggle for the maintenance of the principles of the Constitution. I hope therefore, a true history will be written, and justice will be done them"  --Gen. Robert E. Lee

"We could have pursued no other course without dishonor.  And sad as the results have been, if it had all to be done over again, we should be compelled to act in precisely the same manner."  --General Robert E. Lee, C.S.A. [cited in The Memorial Volume of Jefferson Davis by J. William Jones, 1889, Sprinkle Publications, p. 309]

"Surrender means that the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the War; will be impressed by all the influences of history and to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision." --Gen. Patrick Cleburne, CSA

"Any society which suppresses the heritage of its conquered minorities, prevents their history, and denies them their symbols, has sewn the seed of its own destruction."
-- Sir William Wallace, 1281 A. D.

"Historical knowledge is indispensable for those who want to build a better world." --Ludwig von Mises
