Favourite SLC Member & Why:
David Smith – my brother & best friend but also a super player. I will remember the 43 over opening spell at Waratah oval for my whole life. We had blokes out playing rep and injuries and we had limited bowling options.  David opened up at one end then bowled until he couldn’t stand up…..literally. His last ball was pretty slow but he had maintained pace, swing and accuracy for the 43 overs. I can’t remember his figures but he got a couple of wickets at about 2 an over and choked them at one end all day. His socks were red with blood and he was physically exhausted like I’ve never seen anyone before or since. Inspirational is the only word to describe his effort that day.
Mathew Hodges – great fun to be around, and a great player.
Tony Parker – good man, huge heart, beat the bat more than most bowlers.

Best Cricket Moment See above:I enjoyed seeing other people achieve, but particularly David.

Funniest or most embarrassing Cricket moment:
Ian Hodge spraying WD-40 on his crook shoulder before every match.
Warren Craig’s Southern Lakes one-day uniform was also quite good.

Which 3 people would you invite for dinner? My wife Jillene, Eric Clapton, Harry Kewell
