Homochitto Country, Mississippi
Deja' Vu
I had passed here before and had been unable to stop. I had been unable to follow the little gravel roads disappearing up into the hills.
Not this time. More on that later.
I've been coming into Mississippi from East Louisiana for a while. I'm starting to make ruts just as the pioneers did. One of the landmarks on the trail into  MS is her first town on US 51.
The state line between many southern states marks dry and wet counties. Evidently the "dry" entity, a parish in this case, was on the Louisiana side. The Other Side, being on the other side of the line, serviced the thirsty crowd. I remember those times.
I'll guess the first picture is of dancing, the second, pinball, and the third, pool.
